Our group received outstanding customer service from the team at this HGI, from start to finish. I book hotel blocks for our production company across the country and in Canada. It is rare we encounter a sales leader that is so on top of every single detail for our guests. Bryan was fast, efficient, friendly, and asked key questions to ensure our group was well cared for during their stay. We tour with our clients year-round and provide tech services for many events at the Hollywood Bowl. I am so glad we have found our home away from home for all our future group blocks there!

I stayed at this hotel with a friend for four nights on a holiday in Califorina. The hotel is nice situated, close to all the main activities in Los Angeles like the walk of fame, Warner Brothers, Universal studies etc. Nice staff, nice restaurant, clean room. The hotel is an affordable alternative in central Los Angeles!

Check in was great, arrived at 1pm and was allowed in straight away, the only thing we was annoyed by was the $75 deposit per night held on your credit card until checkout, don’t get me wrong if we had been told about it at check in then we would have expected it. We stayed 4 nights and on 2 days housekeeping saw us leave before 9am yet when we got back just before 4pm the room still had not been done, this was annoying as we had been out for 7 hours. The room was very spacious, with coffee machine, tv, iron and all your normal amenities. The pool area and hot tub was great and even though it’s close to the road you never heard anything. Laundry on the second floor was good especially as we had been to vegas 8 days prior to this trip. Easy to get to the metro about a 10 min walk away and we found the area very safe. The only draw backs of this hotel is the lifts take forever and most of the time it’s full of staff with trolleys and the bin on our 4th floor by the ice machine was not emptied for 3 days, I know this to be fact as the rubbish I put in was still their. As travel agents from the U.K. we was very picky on which hotel we chose for this trip and would recommend it to our clients in the future.

I stay here every time I come to LA (great location, super cute hotel, nice pool and hottub, easy walk to fun city stuff). This stay I just didn’t feel welcomed like the front desk staff usually gives (it was basic at best), the night audit guy May 8, 1am was awesome though. I came early morning to ask for a 1pm checkout: as a Diamond member usually this is ok (I understand not always), but I didn’t even say I was Diamond, I told Claudia I believe her name was, that I am a Team Member from San Diego and had a late train, just wanted to eat then workout a little later, can I get a hook up? She did not even look at my room/profile, she kept her very stern 12/noon complimentary is all I can offer statement and that’s the rules, I get it (I work @ HGI also), but I always try to take care of any Team member visiting. It just wasn’t pleasant. I truly love this location, what a shame.

Positives: 1. Fast check in and check out 2. No issues with the stay. 3. Housekeeping was proactive in responding to cleaning issues raised and solved them. 4. Major Hollywood sites were all within walking distance, a great location. Other comments: 1. They are not the most fancy/newest Hilton, felt a bit rundown, but not too bad. Overall, it's a pleasant experience and will consider staying in this property again if visiting Hollywood.
