Make no mistake, this is a repackaged 50s era motel. It is not what you would expect from a Hilton hotel, generally speaking. We started our stay in a balcony room and the traffic noise was unbearably loud. The staff was accommodating and did change our room. For over 400/night, I expected some sense of luxury and what we got was a tepid hot tub, an average room and spotty customer service (some staff was quite friendly, others not so much).

The cleanliness was beyond unacceptable—there was hair in the shower *and* in the bed, and to top it off, I found sand in the room. For a hotel charging several hundred dollars per night, this level of negligence is appalling. The issues didn’t stop there. The refrigerator in the room didn’t work, and the bathroom door was broken, adding to the overall frustration. What made the experience even worse was the dismissive attitude of the manager or supervisor when these problems were brought to their attention. A simple apology or acknowledgment of their oversight would have been the bare minimum, but instead, I was met with indifference. As someone who has always associated Hilton with a sense of pride and high standards, this experience was a shocking disappointment. If you’re considering staying here, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere unless you’re prepared to deal with subpar cleanliness, broken amenities, and unprofessional staff.

I know Key West during spring break is pricey but I wasn’t pleased with what we got for $400 US a night. The rooms are small and the furniture is all banged and scratched up. Why would the bathroom have only one hook to hang up bath towels, beach towels and swim suits when the room accommodates 4 people? The breakfast staff were pleasant. The front office staff did not volunteer any information when I arrived. I had to ask about everything. I wasn’t told what the resort fee provided me. It was only on check out when I saw other guests getting 2 water bottles that I found out that was included in what I was paying. Nobody told me about the “beach amenities” which might have been nice because we did go to the beach. Finally the poolside bartender didn’t seem very friendly. I had great experiences at the other Hilton hotels where we stayed during our vacation. Unfortunately this one didn’t live up to my expectations.

We have always loved staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at Key West. This particular visit was especially wonderful because of Eduardo and Caitlin and all of the other employees like Manana who made our stay especially personal. Each day they greeted us with a smile and they went out of their way to accommodate our every need. As diamond members we have traveled all over the country and this particular property happens to be one of the friendliest and most welcoming. All of the employees out at the poolside bar are very friendly and welcoming as well! It is simply a great place to visit

Very nice hotel, great location, clean. Great place to stay in Key West, close to but not on the beach. Very nice pool area, the bartender makes delicious margaritas. I like that it is dog friendly, and there is a very nice area to walk your dogs.
