Hilton Garden Inn Edmond/Oklahoma City North in Edmond, OK

We were here two years ago, and it was our first stay at a Hilton Garden Inn, as we are very loyal Marriott people. We loved this hotel so much that we find ourselves now staying at more Hiltons than Marriotts. Everything was so perfect, that we did not want to leave in May 2023. This time, when we arrived, there was no "welcome back", and no bottles of water. In fact, we were there five nights, and we passed the front desk numerous times each day, and not once, did anybody raise their head (from looking down at whatever) to give us a smile or a cheery hello. Two years ago, that front desk was incredible. Everybody was so pleasant, cheerful and friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and nice. We were surprised to see empty wine glasses lined up in the hallway near several rooms. We saw those glasses on Monday (5/19), and they were not removed until the evening of Thursday (5/22). The restaurant downstairs is really an asset. We ate breakfast and dinner twice, and the food was very well prepared, and absolutely delicious. I had the "Grilled Veggie Primavera" (pasta) dish, and it was heavenly. Seldom, do you have such delicious food served in a hotel restaurant. The chef must have graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. Before we made the reservation, I did call and request to speak to the manager about the bedbug review (on Tripadvisor). Just wanted a reassurance that there was not a problem. I was told to leave a voicemail, and he would call me right back. That was over two weeks ago, and never did call, and while we were there, he or she was totally invisible. We know about managers, and part of their job is to address customer concerns. Not here. From here, we moved to the Garden Inn in Bricktown, where the front desk acknowledged us every time we walked by, we were welcomed as Honors members, and were given a shopping bag with bottles of water. However, their restaurant is not even half as good as the one here.

The hotel experience was HORRIBLE. Because of tiny BITTING BUGS ,BEDDING SHEETS (we’re not washed). I literally had to put on a long sleeve top and leggings, and laid towels on the bed to prevent the bites. Absolutely NO SLEEP. My God it was a horrible stay. I will NEVER EVER AGAIN

The facilities are beautiful and the rooms are clean and quiet. If you’re traveling with a working animal, be aware they are not allowed in the dining area. I was surprised I had to get my meal to go but was told it was due to a previous incident where a “working” dog had jumped up on a table and took a child’s food.

Excellent stay! Room was in prestine condition! Very clean lobby and parking lot. Comfortable room temp, cozy beds. Wasn’t expecting to pay for breakfast however it was very good and the servers were attentive and very polite. Love the complimentary water and snack/gift shop open 24/7. Staff was very kind, with the exception of one worker who was snippy when I requested broken glass in the hallway be cleaned up (twice). Overall would definitely stay again if ever traveling through!

This was our second time staying here for an Irish Dance Competition. I just love this hotel. It's clean, close to amenities and the staff are always so nice and friendly. Even with the outage of the computers the staff was always pleasant even though I'm sure they said the same thing a zillion times it was always with a smile and how can we help attitude. I LOVE the hand towels in the lobby restrooms such a nice touch. The bar and onsite restaurant and pool are also a nice amenity. Looking forward to staying here again next year. Keep up the good work.
