$17 breakfast, no free WiFi I stayed here as a free booking from my airline. Even free, I wish I would’ve stayed in one of the other hotels because everything was paid and expensive and the hotel itself had nothing special at all

"Thank you EJ"

I wanted to express my gratitude to the young man, EricJames, for the professionalism and hospitality you displayed tonight. Although I was with the coaches, I was impressed by how you managed the situation at the restaurant. When you mentioned that you were just a front desk agent, I was genuinely surprised you carry yourself so well. However, I must also mention the attitude of your co-workers. They seemed very high-strung, and I have never visited a property where the front desk staff hides in the back, uses inappropriate language, and vapes in the back office without any concern for appearances. The moms and I want to thank you for your kindness and the laughter you shared with us. We sincerely wish you the best of luck and hope that your positive demeanor and grace influence your team. I will reach out to management to mention that, during check-in, we were informed that all members were entitled to water and a complimentary breakfast. In the future, it would be helpful if guests were informed of this at check-in. Although there was some miscommunication regarding the grab-and-go breakfast, I appreciate your efforts on trying to find out also thank you for trying to find hot cocoa for one of the mothers and clean another mom's room. Rest assured, our group text was filled with praise for you and your assistance during the first night of our stay. Many thanks, and we truly appreciate you.

"Watch your rate! Consider going somewhere else."
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 13, 2025
BUYER BEWARE! Don't book the breakfast rate here! Nowhere during booking, check-in or ordering do they tell you that this rate ONLY applies to their buffet (which was out of stock of a lot of things, like Orange Juice). ANYTHING ordered off the menu is FULL PRICE (no credit). Interestingly, I ordered the same thing both days and was charged one day and not the other. When I contacted the front desk at 1145CST on 13 OCT this is when the news broke that they don't recognize the breakfast rate at this hotel outside of their buffet. The hotel rep was nice, but said there's nothing they could do. Otherwise the hotel was clean and the room was nice.

"See the Rocky Mountains from your room!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed July 30, 2025
This place was the best location I could have ever wanted!!! It was near everything. We were able to walk everywhere or take the free red 16th Street Mall bus everywhere. From our 7th floor room we could see the bluish ridge of the Rocky Mountains!! What a beautiful sight to see every morning. The free breakfast was so good as well. There was fresh fruit everyday and a variety of of breads, cereals, and oatmeal. The view from the restaurant windows was nice too. From the restaurant you can see people from all over walking around and enjoying Denver. One morning we sat next to a family from Denmark. Ashley, our server, was from the same part of Texas we are from. So we felt right at home. The room was super clean and quiet. We had no trouble sleeping. The only complaint were the pillows. For me they were too squishy, but that is a personal preference. We also loved the variety of channels on the tv. On night we watched "The Hunt for Red October". The bathroom and shower were ample and well stocked with a hair dryer, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. Most of all, the staff was great. We loved interacting and chatting with Shayla, Luiz, and Ashley. Union Station is only a quick 25 minute walk from the hotel, so we got our train back the the airport right on time. We highly recommend this hotel.
