I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Dana Point Doheny Beach. The views and the room itself were very nice, but the service did not meet expectations. At check-in, the experience felt hurried, and questions were not handled with much attention. During my stay, I also encountered a billing issue. The front desk team was unable to resolve it and advised several times that a manager would follow up. Unfortunately, no call ever came. After repeated attempts, I ultimately had to escalate through Diamond Services to get the matter resolved — something I would not have expected to be necessary at this type of property. The setting and accommodations were pleasant, but the lack of follow-through and customer support was disappointing. Until improvements are made on the service side, I would be cautious about recommending this hotel.

It’s a very nice hotel with a beautiful sunset deck and my room was very clean and nice. The service couldn’t be any better the front desk lady Deepthi was so welcoming and made my stay here a lot better not gon lie I left with a smile after she helped me get my room.

How can you bump your customer when you’ve already checked in? And there’s no apologies at all.this is by far the worst customer service. I was asked to check in last night on the Hilton App. I was given over 15 rooms to pick from over three levels. I chose a room on third floor and checked in. Before I came I even chatted and asked them if I still have the same room and now I know why they didn’t answer me. Because I came and only come to find out they bumped me. Front desk’s only explanation was the customers stayed precariously decided to extend their stay so they got to keep the room. So… you bumped your customer but there is no need to let them know ahead of time? No courtesy what so ever. When I came to room I got bumped to, the room was definitely not cleaned right. Chair was still full sands, the towel has dark spots and bed sheet has yellow spots on it. I talked to the front desk and they offered room but not in a way they’re trying to help a customer in need. What happened to Hilton’s well known hospitality and service? I’ve been to Hilton in 10+ states this is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Shame….
