Every staff member was so incredibly kind and accommodating at this location. The location is perfect; a very short walk to downtown but not right in the middle of things. This felt important for noise considerations since we had our toddlers on our trip. Clean rooms and amenities. Would definitely recommend as a kid-friendly hotel stay.

Friendly welcome, quiet and spacious rooms, easy onsite parking and a short walk into Asheville. A well located base from which to explore Asheville. Special mention to Alissa who is a positive whirlwind running front of house at breakfast. Fast, efficient, positive and upbeat - she works hard to set you up with breakfast fuel and a ‘you can’ vibe for your day ahead.

This is to report that this particular hotel has parties on Saturday night and due to a party this past month my family got little sleep. It was right over our heads and the clean up went well into the early morning hours. Numerous calls were made but no alternative rooms were available. The hotel declined to provide a reimbursement. The rooms on the fifth floor should not be booked at all for Saturdays.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Asheville for five months, from January through June, and I can honestly say it felt like a second home. From the moment I checked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and cared for. Rhyne Franklin, the General Manager, clearly leads by example, his entire team is professional, warm, and always willing to go the extra mile. The front desk staff; Tina, Reagan, Meraldo, Lauren, David, Valarie (just to name a few)—greeted me with kindness every day and quickly got to know me by name. It was the kind of hospitality that reminds you of the show Cheers—where everybody really does know your name. The Pillar Rooftop Bar was a gem of the hotel. Alejandro, Butters, Kayla, Amanda, Tate, Keith, and the rest of the crew created a fun, friendly atmosphere with great food, drinks, and live music every Friday and Saturday. Whether I was winding down from a long day or bringing friends and co-workers by, it always felt like the place to be. Housekeeping was excellent throughout my stay—consistent, respectful of my schedule, and always keeping things spotless. I didn’t require major maintenance during my time there, but anytime I had a request, the team responded promptly and professionally. Location-wise, the hotel is in a sweet spot: close enough to downtown to be convenient, but just far enough on the edge to enjoy a quieter, more relaxed environment. A free shuttle is also available to downtown and back. It made getting around Asheville and hopping on the highway easy and stress-free. Of course, over a five-month stay, small issues can pop up, usually on my end but every time, the staff handled it quickly and with care. That level of consistency is rare, and it didn’t go unnoticed. Leaving wasn’t easy. After months of being greeted with smiles and treated like family, it was hard to say goodbye. I’ll genuinely miss everyone there and look forward to the day I can return. Y'all know who this is and I will be back. Thank you all for making my stay so memorable.

My husband and I LOVED this location. The room was CLEAN and spacious with pretty views is the surrounding mountains. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the rooftop bar was spectacular! This location also had an excellent workout facility, and Keurig cups were available in the lobby for convenient use in your own room at any time of day. They also offered fresh baked cookies in afternoon, but due to celiac disease, I was unable to enjoy them. (They looked good though!)Throughout the hotel, there was visually stunning art that suited the town’s vibe.
