"Wonderful place!"

First of all T at the lobby bar, was absolutely lovely, was wonderful to speak to, and extremely caring. Then we had two wonderful people receive us at reception who were very, very helpful, I like this place!

This was my first time in Charleston and the stay was amazing. Amy at the front desk was a ball of information for a first-timer like me. Jena at the concierge desk was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to research an activity for me. The bar tender Lmamuel makes very good drinks. Housekeeping deserve recognition as well, cleaning behind others is not glamorous, but the do it with pride. Adam at valet was helpful, knowledgeable, observant and extemely carefully with my vehicle.

"Terrible customer service"

Hotel was okay, but customer service was terrible. Told us they had no late check outs left, and came to evict us at 10:15. We paid nearly $600 to stay here for 1 night. Front desk lady was telling us we came down too late, at 10, when we actually came down, asking for a late check out at 8. Overall experience was horrible. Never in my lifetime, have I ever experienced this kind of customer service. Would never, and I mean never, stay here again.

Everything about this property clicked. From a welcoming arrival with the valet parking staff to the departure at the reception desk, we loved this hotel. The efficiency accommodation was perfect and very clean. Nice big shower. There is a small cocktail lounge. The Beech Cafe offers breakfast and lunch snacks, with great coffee options. Excellent all the way around.
