"An unexpectedly delightful experience!"

The property location was fantastic… with the bridge view and the room was gorgeous; well designed, surberbly appointed, washer and dryer was a surprise as were the layered window coverings that change at the push of a button! We especially appreciated the tall ceilings and hardwood doors…noise was barely noticeable. Beautiful, very comfortable property. The only thing that surpassed the property was the staff. From check in, concierge and valet park staff these people could not have been more helpful and welcoming We had a wonderful time here… would definitely recommend!

We visited the Liberty Place in Charleston in August 2025. The location was fantastic being close to the market place, shopping and dining places on King Street as well as other major attractions. Our room was well appointed with major new appliances and technologies such as automatic room darkening drapes. The service level provided was great in all areas. In particular, I would like to recognize the valet, Hunter who went above and beyond our expectations when he realized that our rental car had a dead battery when we went to pick it up. Hunter called maintenance to bring up jumper cables while he went and pulled up his car to jump our car. In minutes, we were on our way to the nearest rental location that he directed us to. His actions and interest in serving the customer was a culture among the work staff at this location. The only disappointment is the lack of a pool or hot tub at this location. My wife and I would certainly return to this location again.

Location was ok, there is public transportation but it’s a nice walk to get down to where food and shopping are located. Lovely atmosphere but not a lot at the hotel it’s self no pool or spa. Small cafe and bar but mostly set up to sell the Hilton vacation experience. Rooms were nice we had a balcony which was nice. The finishes were higher end then the less costly Hilton properties we have stayed at which was to be expected. We were on a promotional tour. I feel for the price we would have paid there maybe better options. We had a small kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, dishes, larger frig and sink. The bath was ok not much room counter space wise, separate toilet area was nice, fancy toilet which was fine if you need all that. Shower was nice but not well thought out, it leaked on the floor. Bedding was nice however sheets could have fit better. We had to have someone adjust the thermostat, it was locked. The light switches took some getting use to but nice overall. Ice machine on the floor was broken. You must have your key card to visit other floors than your own. They do not utilize the Hilton key options on the Hilton app. The staff were amazing! They were helpful and attentive. We called while we were out and about and they gave us additional suggestions. They were the crown jewel of our experience. Wish it was like this across Hilton properties!

This has officially become our new favorite HGV location! You feel spoiled as soon as you enter your room and appreciated by every member of the staff. We were really happy about not being pressured to do a member update. It was refreshing!
