The Hampton Inn & Suites is conveniently located in the center of the Savannah Historic District. The staff was friendly and helpful. The internet connection was inconsistent. The staff tried to help but it continued to be a problem. The room was nice & comfortable, but housekeeping was not efficient/effective. The breakfast buffet was nothing special but adequate. It was a hassle to get my boarding passes printed. Overall - OK but not great.

Location: Edge of historic district, walkable to most of the squares. My wife has mobility problems, so we used a combination of walking and Uber; Uber in Savannah is expensive and you should allow 15-20 minutes for a car. Room: Large, bed, sofa. Clean, not worn as others have said. Hotel overall nicer than most Hamptons unless they’re new. Parking: A bit inconvenient if you can’t get a spot in the small lot. Overflow is in a 3-level garage behind the Embassy Suites, which in turn is immediately across a small street from the Hampton. The garage has plenty of space and an elevator. Access through the Embassy lobby. Staff: Pleasant and helpful. Breakfast: Hampton has one of the poorest breakfast offerings of any hotel in this class. The usual waffle maker, rehydrated eggs, oatmeal, toast, bagels. No pastries, a few small muffins.

Again I’m having to complain about a Hilton Hampton! Very poor hotel. Only good thing was location again. Room ok but only a desk chair seat. Fridge and microwave were a welcome. Let’s go for the minus points. We were here for 8 nights. Thankfully the room was cleaned when we arrived. It was only cleaned once more the whole stay. Disgusting. Notice in bathroom says every other day, no problem, if only it was? We complained to the manager on our last day. Implied our do not disturb sign must be on, untrue. Why did we not complain earlier? Wow do we need to complain to get a room clean? Perhaps I’ll come and do your job? I shouldn’t need to complain. It should be done when stated! We said we would take it up with Hilton as her laid back attitude was also annoying. She said fine they’ll just come back to me 🤷🏼‍♀️. We also had toilet issues. They were dealt with in a timely manner. Last but not least is my rant on the ‘free breakfast’. I’d rather pay for breakfast or have none if you could stop your tide of plastic use. It’s cheap and nasty to eat meals from styrofoam and use plastic utensils and drinks containers. It’s bad for the planet. Full stop! Stop it! Get a dishwasher and proper plates, cups, cutlery and glasses. We will never stay in another Hampton again.

Not sure why this is a 3 star. Should be 4 star hotel. Great location, walking distance from many tourist places. 3 min walk from hop on hop off stop 1. Safe area to walk anytime. Beautiful decor and clean, comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Location: Good Staff: Very Friendly Hotel: Below Average Parking: Bring your hiking boots! Negatives: Bed was very squeaky No seating in room except for one desk chair. Repeated toilet issues Room smelled very musky Hair on shower walls (not ours) Parking for $35 a night requires a good walk Positives: Staff was very friendly especially breakfast attendant Location was nice for walking to historic district
