Wow, did we find a gem!! I had my mothers 70th birthday get together and we all drove from LA & SF, and needed affordable clean rooms for everyone. I could believe for myself and 3 others booked 2 rooms that had 4 beds for 2 nights was only $430. Each room!! Staff was so friendly and super attentive and excellent customer service👌 They have a pool and it’s handicap assessable!! And! A super cool large patio with a fireplace tables and chairs! A real breakfast with eggs potatoes and waffles and fresh delicious coffee and tea free every morning and wine tasting at 5pm every evening. I’m going to make this a regular place to stay with my and my family!! One last thing, it’s next to everything. Restaurants, movie theater, target, Home Depot, and Raleys super market. And 5 minutes away from downtown Napa. It’s A Winner!!

"Hidden $15/night Parking Fee is an illegal deceptive practice under Section 1770(a)(29) of the California Civil Code"

Nobody replied to the following email to Darian Dickerson, Operations Manager. Maybe this review on Tripadvisor will get their attention. BEGIN EMAIL: Hello Darian, Thank you for replying to my online response to “How Was Your Stay?” Let me recap the issue. I was surprised to see that I was charged $15 for parking because there was no mention of a parking fee when booking the reservation and no mention of a parking fee in the emailed confirmation. And the young women at the front desk did not mention a parking fee when we checked in and they gave us a slip to put on the dashboard. They were polite and professional, so I assume they were not instructed to inform the guests of a parking fee. Or perhaps they were instructed to not disclose it. This Hampton is surrounded by acres of asphalt shared with the gym and movie theaters for whose customers parking is free. It is not a city hotel where a parking fee is expected. With multiple clicks on this hotel’s website, I was able to uncover a pet fee of $75 and a parking fee of $10—not $15. On your website today, I see that the parking fee has been “corrected” to $15. You should thank me for bringing this mistake to your attention. More importantly, as of July 1st of this year, hiding this $15 fee is illegal under Section 1770(a)(29) of the California Civil Code which states the following is an illegal deceptive practice: 29) (A) Advertising, displaying, or offering a price for a good or service that does not include all mandatory fees or charges other than either of the following: (i) Taxes or fees imposed by a government on the transaction… Etc. To be clear, the law doesn’t say you can’t charge for parking. It says you can’t display a price that doesn’t disclose a charge for parking. You could try to argue that the parking fee can remain a hidden surprise for the guest to discover after checking out because it isn’t “mandatory.” But when almost every guest is parking a vehicle, I don’t think that argument would hold up--END OF EMAIL By the way, I checked a few other nearby Hamptons on the Hilton.com website that all follow the same reservation format. Those other Hamptons do not disclose a parking fee when making a reservation, but it's not illegal because for them parking is free.

"Pricey, noisy room, dirty dining area."
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

Friday and Saturday night, some upstairs neighbors were rolling something around their floor until past 3 a.m. On the second night, I complained to the front desk after 10 and 12 midnight, but the noise continued until 3 a.m. Sunday afternoon, these maniacs upstair were still rolling crap around after 1 p.m., -- well past check-out time, which the hotel apparently doesn't bother to enforce. The noise, plus the mediocre breakfast and dirty dining area make this hotel a no-go for me. I've stayed here 4 times in the past 2 years, because I like the location (adjacent to restaurants, a movie theater, and hiking trail), but this will be my last stay. Next time in Napa, I'll go to the Best Western just down the street. With the money I'll save, I can buy my own breakfast at one of the many close-by restaurants.

We had doubts about how well located the hotel was for our stay in Napa and in this sense it is very accessible to the main access roads to go to the vineyards. The hotel is very clean and with very comfortable rooms. Maybe just a little bit noisy.

The Hampton Inn, Napa was exceptional. The facility was clean and quiet. The front desk staff (I believe her name was Hannity or Harrity) went above and beyond. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is centrally located and in walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores.
