We traveled Christmas week, so not surprising, it was packed. They could not handle the volume of guests or cars. Valet parking and elevators were chaos. The rooms were spacious and clean, neighborhood was lovely, breakfast had a nice range of options. Our stay was really tainted by the fact that the housekeeping staff shampooed our room’s carpet right before we checked in! It was the most pungent odor - like someone dropped a bottle of AX body spray all over the rug. We had to keep the door open with a fan for 2 hrs to air out the room enough to sleep.

We checked into Hampton Historic Savannah on Bay Street on December 14, 2025, and let valet parking park our car. When they returned our car the next morning, it was damaged. The driver had scraped the driver side of the car against one of the hotel columns. We spoke to management who said they were not responsible for any damages. AVOID THIS HOTEL! There are better places in the area.

The staff at the hotel were amazing! The hotel is located in the center of historic Savannah, walking distance to all the sights. Room was immaculate. Want to give a shout out to the valet Tymaria who was great ! Definitely recommend staying here!

Great stay! Excellent service right from the start! The valet, Jayden, was very courteous and thorough. He made some suggestions for the area. Room was very clean and quiet. Bfast was complimentary and had a nice variety. Cross Bay street and you are on the river - easy!
