"Clean and comfortable"

Stayed for one night at the end of a 2 week road trip. We arrived slightly ahead of the official check in time and as our room was ready we could unload our car and make ourselves comfortable. The welcome from reception was great, it was nice to be asked about our travels and compare stories about Las Vegas! We booked a king room which was really comfortable and super clean, it came with all the advertised amenities. The property is in a good location for walking into Downtown with plenty of restaurants, shops and of course the local attractions. We were flying out of SLC and were able to leave our car in the parking lot after checking out whilst we had a few hours to spare. Great stuff, most definitely recommend.

"Noisy, poor service, no Internet"

After arriving a day early in SLC I booked a room here for the day before my original reservation. They made no accommodation & would not let me stay in the room new room until the original room was ready. Had to move out b4 noon & they wouldn’t tell me when my original reservation would be ready. They quoted a total of $272 on the phone when I booked then tried to charge $340 when I checked in. Finally, I’ve been unable to get on line as there is something wrong with their internet connection - it doesn’t give the option to sign in w a password. All in all the worst hotel I’ve stayed at after many trips to SLC.

"Very nice stay"

This was a good experience. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel was well maintained and very clean. The hotel itself was older. But, the bathroom was newly done and the bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and nicely presented - pleasantly surprised! It was quiet during my stay and I slept well. Walked to all the interesting things in downtown from here. Good value.

This hotel had several things going for it: great walking distance from downtown, you could easily leave your car at the hotel and walk to several restaurants and local attractions. The breakfast was the standard Hampton inn options: waffles, prepared omelets,bagels and such. The staff were very friendly when we checked in. The drawback would be the outdated furniture , musty carpets and stained couches. It is in need of a renovation as soon as possible. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke when we arrived back from dinner in the lobby but it was gone when we went down for breakfast. All in all, I’d say it’s average for the price.

Had a great stay at the Hampton Inn in Salt Lake City! Check-in was easy and quick, with friendly customer service throughout. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning. The location felt very safe and was convenient—close to stores, restaurants, and within walking distance to downtown. Perfect spot for both business and leisure. Would definitely stay here again!
