The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is pricier due to location, but is motel style. Entrances outside. It’s fine and rooms were clean. Pool was nice and shuttle to town was useful as you aren’t close enough to downtown and attractions to walk. The shuttle doesn’t start until 8 am, so if you are taking the Yankee Freedom to Dry Tortugas, you will need to drive and park or uber. We pd to uber and caught the shuttle back as it drops off only 3-4 blocks from the ferry dock. Saved about half of the $40 for parking and didn’t have to drive. The extra resort fee seems much for what you get. The two free waters and two free drinks were nice, but not always used. We paid extra for ocean view. It’s nice, but across a road. The photos online are taken from the upstairs balcony on the central u shaped building. Two other buildings flanked by the main segment, so choose your room there early if you want similar. I didn’t feel the hotel looked quite as nice as the photo made it appear. Clean and safe and good staff. So comfortable staying there, but not posh. Don’t let the ibis steal your breakfast if you eat outside.:)

Sam is absolutely amazing . We were there with our son and she was able to get him a very nice room . My husband and I travel all the time, we didn't care where we stayed we just wanted him to have a room with a nice view of the ocean. She was so sweet and was able to do that. What a beautiful Hidden Gem and crazy Key West .

Hampton is one of those places where on the one hand - then on the other, First, let's be positive and do the pluses. Room was very spacious and quiet. We had a back porch which came in handy drying outing and beach clothes. Free bottled water each day, nice in this climate. Free concierge, very helpful. Breakfast was standard chain fare and space limited for this very large hotel. But, note that there is a "resort fee", which must cover (?) the free water and one free drink at the pool bar each day. The pool did not appear to be heated, and by afternoon all the chairs were reserved by non-existent bathers and there was quite a mess from leftover food and drinks. Not cleaned up well or often enough. The mess left behind encouraged sea birds to hunt for food among the chairs. Shower curtain bar was curved downward so the curtain never covered, letting the bathroom floor get wet every time. But shower and toilet separate from sink so two people can easily get ready at once. Also, the hotel is on the takeoff path for the nearby airport, so you will hear planes all day into the night. Located on a major road that made it easy to get to anywhere on the island in minutes.

If you are staying in Key West , I encourage you to stay here. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was top notch, and the pool area with the bar and restaurant available, made our week there very relaxed and enjoyable. We heard several comments and we felt the same way, that this was one of the nicest Hamptons we had ever stayed at. Keep in mind, it is not a “luxury” hotel and the breakfast is like any other Hampton, but taking what it is into account, feel like we made a great choice for our week. The shuttle is an added benefit and if you are flying in, unless you want to explore other keys, don’t bother renting a car. The hotel shuttle runs all day and takes you right downtown for restaurants and bars. Tip the driver
