Guest rooms are completely non-smoking and include a microwave and a small refrigerator. A cable TV with HBO® and local art are featured in each room. Select rooms feature a balcony. Convenient laundry facilities are offered. A business center is available for guests.

The hotel provides a 24-hour multilingual front desk. Cheekie Hut is a poolside bar and grill that serves American cuisine. Guests can also grab a hot beverage at the coffee bar. The Hemingway House is a 13 minutes drive from the property.

Rooms in this hotel are huge and nicely decorated. Microwave very useful. Safe and fridge in the room. We stayed on the 2nd floor away from the road. Lift to second floor. The noise of aircrafts didn’t disturbed us as the last one is around 8pm. Breakfast was a bit chaotic. Not enough tables inside and the area is too small. Not well design for an easy flow of people queuing. I enjoyed making my own waffles. Parking is free which is nice and you can park near your room which makes it easier to carry your suitcases. The resort fee of 30 dollars gives you access to two free drinks at the swimming pool bar. Very large pool but we didn’t use it. Sam the receptionist was very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Rooms spacious and even though we had booked a pool view we had ocean and pool view room. Whilst I am not a fan of hotels charging daily destination fees; these extras justify the cost. Frequent Shuttle bus service to Downtown Key West ran by the funny and kind driver Rene (who by the way definitely deserves a raise as he was amazing). 2x alcoholic drinks per day per room. Covers wide range of cocktails etc, which would be $12-$14 each without the drinks token. We chose to eat at the Cheekie Hut everyday, and staff were friendly and food was great and was delivered very fast and of great quality. Free water bottles, pool towels which when we were there , the towels were replenished hourly. The airport is directly under the flight path so it can be noisy, but we are used to that as it’s the same where we live. Just a few niggles: - Shower isn’t too powerful and the water never seemed to get hot enough. - Although breakfast is included, the hot food is limited and wasn’t ever that hot. - We seemed to have been bitten quite a bit. We believe this is from the smoking hut which is just by a small river. However, we would definitely return should any of our future USA trips takes us back to Key West.

Perhaps we have just been unlucky having read other reviews- location great and shuttle bus a great bonus. We only stayed two nights. We came home to find our towels had been replaced but bed not made- not the end of the world but a bit strange. When i mentioned this at the desk I was told ‘maybe they missed it?’ which kind of annoyed us. Check out was where we felt let down- went to check out, was told ‘put your key in there, do you want a receipt?’. No ‘how was your stay’ or ‘this is the resort fee charges’. Really really poor skills by the girl on the desk Weds 13th Nov, 11am. We didnt get to mention the minor issues we had had so left feeling very annoyed. Was going to take this up but I couldnt be bothered to expend the energy. Sorry Hampton, on this occasion you didnt live up to your reception mat!!

The hotel is located near the airport not downtown. There is airplane noise starting about 730 each morning. Didn’t bother us but something to note. The ocean is across the street but the beach is about 1/2 mile down and you can rent chairs for 20 a day. The hotel is setup more like two story beach hotel the rooms are nice and updated. Our biggest complaint was the uncomfortable bed and poor air conditioning. We did have maintenance come and he said it was a new unit. The unit is really too small for the space so in the summer months I lt may not be adequate. Housekeeping was attentive and they came mid morning which was nice. The people at check in were nice and attentive. We booked a tour through concierge fairly priced and we enjoyed. They do have a shuttle that will drop off and pick up downtown every hour we did use it and it is also cheap and easy to uber. The hotel pool is nicer than expected. More of a resort style pool with tiki bar. Once free drink pp/pd. Food was fair atmosphere was nice. We would likely stay somewhere more localized to downtown but we would recommend this hotel to people who are going to have a car

This hotel has a great view but keep in mind it’s located at the top end of Key West, pretty far from Duval etc. With that being said I stayed here many years ago when it was a different brand. It has a great pool, a great atmosphere, a shuttle which brings you close to everything downtown, and great staff. I remember it well and they have definitely improved upon it since then. We hung out at the pool almost every day, that was our main purpose for coming although we went downtown for dinner most evenings. As far as Hampton Inn breakfasts go, I’ve never seen one this crowded and they definitely kept up with it. Excellent choices with excellent service. The one thing I’ll say is bring your own pool towels if you can. They go quick and they don’t get replenished. When I asked for more towels they asked me how many I needed, brought them out (6) and sat them in the towel rack, and of course they were gone within five seconds. The bar and the restaurant can definitely handle being packed. They had great service. They just can’t replenish the towels quick enough. I wouldn’t let that stop me from staying again. We loved it here and we will definitely consider this hotel again next time.
