"Bad. Go 4 blocks down to Hilton or Hilton Garden Inn"

You know I don't think I have ever actually done a review survey, but this one deserves the truth. Very disappointing stay. In fact that much more disappointing as this is a beach/vacation area hotel, and the Home2 that we stayed at in Atlanta next to the airport was x10 better than this place. I don't want to sound like I need to be pampered, but you know I earn the Diamond status through 90% traveling which isn't an easy feat. Then I also have quite a bit of spend each year on my Hilton credit card. Is it really to much to ask to say thanks for being a Hilton Honors Diamond member??? Isn't that part of your welcome?! And if I have to be the one to ask you for the welcome bag, or for my Coke and Sweedish Fish, then I immediately get a bad taste in my mouth. The beds were not good, I am a Diamond member and 3 weeks a moth and these beds were awful. The worst and most irritating part of this hotel is the breakfast and staff. The morning front desk staff was two women, that have zero personality and acted as if we were bothering them if asking a question. It was a younger girl with curly hair and older woman working together at the front desk. The breakfast is disgusting. I typically stay at Hamptons, so I am extremely familiar with the typical Hampton breakfast. 2 of the three waffle irons were broken, one being the timer and all 3 of them had loose screws that made the batter spill over and when flipping over the iron they about wobble off the stand. It was the talk of the breakfast station how no one had fixed this and obviously didn't happen that morning. (Mind you I was there for 4 days and this was the same through the stay). The cleanliness of the eating area was disgusting. I asked several times each morning to the two front desk staff to please have someone wipe a towel across a table so people could sit down, due to literally ants crawling on the table tops from crumbs. The staff bringing out the food and working in the kitchen, were all basically hiding in the back on their phones, and guests had to keep telling them "hey this is out, do you have any more of this" because everything was empty and remained that way unless complained about by someone. I'm not sure if Hilton bought this property and redid it, but it was definitely and older hotel. Its not on the beach either, so don't get fooled. You still have a healthy walk to actually get to the beach, and there is a huge condo building behind it. The Pool, is actually decent and maybe the cleanest area at the hole place. The BAD... the swinging door that goes from the pool to the parking lot. OMG this thing when it opens is a big door, and the loudest squeakiest thing I have ever heard in my life. It for real sounds like a siren. When we were at breakfast the first morning, we heard people talking about it, and how they skipped the pool because of the door noise. Heard another guy say get to the pool early and get chairs away from the door becuse it is so loud. We mentioned it also the the front desk girl with curly hair, as I annoyingly took her away from scrolling her phones. The maintenance guys also said they were so tired of hearing about this door hinges and just wished someone would switch them out. I blew it, I should have stayed about 4 blocks down at either the Hilton or Hilton Garden Inn. I've stayed at both of them before, but they didn't have any open rooms and this was a last minute booking. I won't be making that mistake again. Hamptons usually come through as a great stay and you know what you are getting, but this place just didn't cut it.

Diamond hilton member but no water or snack on arrival no upgrade although I could have paid for an upgrade. Room was small. Breakfast more along the lines of a days inn not a hilton product. Offered feedback on text when they asked how my stay was going and got no reply. Price was over 50.00 more than the reservation said it would be room was small. Did not feel appreciated.

"Eh. Not terrible, didn’t love it"

We didn’t love this hotel. It’s close-ish to the beach, the pool is nice. But the room itself had some small damage, they didn’t come to make it up during the day or bring new towels, there was no soap in the pump in the shower, the sheets were not all the way on and came off in the night. We would find somewhere else to stay on a return trip for sure

"A/C cuts off after 30 mins"

Hotel has one of this A/C units they have programmed to cut off after 30-45 mins, which is miserable in Florida heat/humidity. Hotel is fine as long as you don’t plan on sleeping. If the hotel is going to be so cheap as to not let guests use air conditioning, at least have the decency to install a fan!

I just returned from my stay.it is a hotel that we have stayed at many times before. I have to say that it has been consistently well kept, friendly, and provides a great breakfast. I have to say I had some quirks in my reservations and they were very supportive and helpful, and believe me I was a pain. At the very end of my trip I misplaced my cc. I thought maybe I have it to the front desk with my key cards. When it wasn’t there the desk clerk went through the trash bucket to see if it was thrown out.(BTW, the card was left at a restaurant).always wave hollow how’s your day. Great place.
