"Nice staff, VERY below average property."

First, let me compliment the staff. Very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast attendant - she was great! I generally love a Hampton for it's consistency in product, cleanliness and service. This property did not live up to the Hampton reputation at all. It fell far short of expectations. I would liken it to a Super 8 or Motel 6 as far as the room and and its current state. I worked in tourism & hospitality for 23 years and know hotel brands quite well. Upon arrival, the door to the hotel from the parking lot was not usuable. It had a sign indicating HVAC work was being done and to use the front door. Except the front door was not automatic, making it difficult to get in the door with luggage. Walking in the "suite," was very underwhelming. Many stains on the carpet, a comb jammed in a desk chair with hair in it, dated decor - below average overall. It was dark - even with all the lights on, and it was COLD! I adjusted the thermostat. Nothing. Tried for some time. The front desk told me that the thermostat would not work due to the HVAC work and they would send someone up to manually turn on the heat. Maintenance tried to turn it on by going into the ceiling in the bathroom and accessing "the switch." He could not reach it. Even if he could have, I would have then been stuck with that new temperature with no way to adjust it. They gave me a space heater. Bad plan. I turned the space heater off at night beacuse this is what is advised by the Consumer Safety Product Commission because they are a fire hazzard. What were other guests with space heaters doing? It was NOT safe, and it was COLD! If the HVAC system was down, I should have been notified ahead of time and given the oppourtunity to change my plans or change hotels. VERY dissapointing experience. Would not stay here again.

"Perfect Atlanta getaway stay!"

The staff was nice and attentive. The location was perfect. It is a historic building, the building is old but it was beautifully renovated. It is minimalistic, and my favorite feature is that it was extremely clean! Please keep up the great work and quality. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

No issues with my stay, room was clean, breakfast was decent. Staff was very nice all around and helpful. Gym could have used some TLC machines were unplugged and water was empty. Additionally there was a lot of road noise throughout the night. Location within Atlanta is good

"Family Getaway"

This hotel was great. The only complaint I have was when checking in it took awhile for them to assign me a room. We arrived a little after 3 PM (check in time) and I waited a half hour for them to assign me a room. I am not sure what would have happened if I checked in online instead. Other than that the hotel was clean and I really liked that the doors were locked for more security.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an outstanding experience! The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my stay.The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and eager to assist with any needs or questions I had. A special shout-out goes to Niya, who truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Her professionalism and dedication make her the best employee I've ever encountered in the hospitality industry.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch stay with exceptional service!
