"Great"

Beautiful resort. Well Appointed. I would rate 5 stars; however, the staff (bartenders) were not friendly. Did not proactively offer a menu, or to take a drink order. There we 4 people at the bar total (including myself and husband), and was still not offered service. The bartender with dreads (fair skinned) seemed out off by lgbtq clientele. Atleast that is the impression that we collectively received. in addition, we attempted to order room service at 11pm and was told that room service was no available. After further investigation, we learned that security handles room service and were detained for another incident and delivery could not be promised. We were told to come downstairs to retrieve any food items we may want. Unacceptable.

"Our Wedding"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

We are beyond grateful for Rebekah DeMarcantonio, our incredible wedding coordinator, who made our special day absolutely seamless. From the moment we arrived, her attentiveness and calm presence set the tone for a stress-free celebration. Her eye for detail was impeccable—every element was perfectly in place, and not a single issue arose at the venue. Thanks to Rebekah’s expert coordination, everything flowed effortlessly and all we had to do was soak in the joy of the day. Our guests had a fantastic time, and we received so many compliments on how smooth and beautiful the wedding was. Rebekah truly went above and beyond, and we can’t thank her enough for helping bring our vision to life.

"Still Thinking About My Experience - Horrible"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 18, 2025 NEW
It has been a very long time since I traveled to this resort, but my last experience I will never forget it. It was my fiancé‘s birthday and we booked, I want to say 3 to 4 months in advance. We were looking forward to this weekend. We both needed some relax time together and a break from work. I wanted him to experience a great massage a great atmosphere a great vibe and just a great resort. I don’t really have any complaints about anything except for the massage that was the bulk of the price for the trip. It was a 60 minute couples massage and the lady who massaged me was scrolling on her phone the whole time, so I only got a one hand massage. You could hear her phone buzzing every moment because she was continuously getting notifications. She even dropped her phone during the massage so peaceful it was not. I was really upset. I did not even tip my masseuse and my fiancé stated he experience the same. For us to have paid as much as we paid and waited for this experience ….it really sucked. I have visited this resort every year for the past 6 years, but the very last experience I had I will never go there again. When we came back home, I booked a local masseuse that was just spectacular… to make up for our experience at this resort. To me I should not have had to do that.

"Surprisingly delightful spa afternoon"
TripAdvisor user rating 4.0 out of 5
Reviewed October 12, 2025 NEW
During our trip to North Carolina, we stayed in Greensboro area. We made reservations for a spa afternoon at the Grandover Resort & Spa, A Wyndham Grand Hotel. We were welcomed by Britney who gave us a tour our the facilities. We received rubs and sandals and we changed at the designed locker & change rooms. After we changed we visit the pool area ( indoors) and the hot tub. Unfortunately, the steam & sauna rooms are one side for the ladies and the other rooms are for the gentlemen. But you can use the relaxation room and the waiting room together as a couple. After spending 2 hrs using the amenities it was our time for the massage. My husband got the deep tissue and I received the volcanic massage ( hot stones). We had a great time. Later we received a glass of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary trip. The areas are clean and well maintained . We love the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. Thank you.
