Lovely place. Very clean. Very convenient to Grand Canyon. Wish we could have stayed more than one night and taken advantage of other amenities.

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Las Vegas that included a side trip to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Damn and Red Rocks National Park. We rented a car and took off for the Canyon. When searching for a hotel prior to the trip, I came upon the listing for the Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel. After a spectacular 4 plus hour drive from Vegas we arrived at the GCP Hotel. Checking in was easy and one of the staff Susan, introduced herself informing me she was the person I had interacted with months before on the phone, (great memory). We went to our room which was big, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had booked a tour of the Canyon through the hotel, that was great. After our tour we returned to the hotel and ate a late dinner at the "Wagon Wheel Saloon" on property. While our waiter was a bit grumpy (and I emphasize "a bit"), his service was impeccable. The food was very good and the experience was very satisfactory. Folks, the Grand Canyon is a rustic experience. This hotel was appropriate for the area. It's not the Bellagio and doesn't claim to be. Come and stay here, you'll enjoy the property, the staff and particularly the Grand Canyon.

This was my second time at the Grand Canyon and also my second time staying at Grand Canyon Plaza. The hotel is very clean and located at the perfect distance from the Grand Canyon—it’s quiet, private, and incredibly relaxing. I truly enjoyed both of my stays here, and I know this is my forever go-to hotel when visiting the Grand Canyon. To make things even more interesting, I accidentally left my laptop and a couple of books behind after checking out this time. I realized it when I was already in Las Vegas and didn’t want to drive back to pick them up, so I called the hotel and explained the situation. I first spoke with a front desk staff member who confirmed that my laptop and books had been found. I was then transferred to the manager, Treenuch, who was absolutely wonderful. She informed me that I could schedule a FedEx pickup and that my items would be waiting at the front desk. Not only did she send me a follow-up email with her contact information and a summary of our conversation, but she also went above and beyond by packing everything in a box and wrapping each item in bubble wrap for extra protection. She kept in touch throughout the entire process and even ensured that the front desk sent me an email the moment FedEx picked up the package. I received my items within three days! Absolutely amazing customer service! Treenuch and her team were professional, pleasant, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. I can't thank them enough. It's such a relief to know that when you stay at a hotel like this, you—and your belongings—are well taken care of. Thank you, Grand Canyon Plaza Hotel Team! See you next time!
