When we arrived on Friday night, we walked into the room and all the lights were on. The bedding was all turned back like the bed was recently used and had not had a bedding change. There was a questionable hair found on the bed sheets. We alerted the front desk to the problems with the room because we weren't sure if the room had already been given to and used by someone else. The front desk said they would send someone to clean our room. A hotel rep called my cell phone shortly thereafter and informed me that they didn't have anyone available to clean our room but they would give us a $75 food and beverage credit on our account that we could begin using immediately. On a side note, when we checked in, we agreed to forego maid service and receive a $10 food and beverage credit. When we checked out today, there was NO credit whatsoever on our bill. I didn't have time to argue as I was at a self check-out kiosk and we were trying to get to the airport on time. Our shower was not sealed properly to the floor and made a significant puddle of water on the floor. Had I not noticed, I could have ran into some real trouble when I dried by hair with the blowdryer. The carpet in the halls to the rooms we were in is badly aged and in need of replacement or major strectching. These rooms are badly rundown and promises were not kept in regards to our bill. I will never again even consider staying at the Flamingo again or recommend to ANYONE unless I really don't like the person asking for a recommendation. Our room was totally outdated and in need of major updates.

coffee maker but not cups only small water glass. safe was locked when we arrived called to have opened so we could use, desk informed us we would need to wait in room for the afternoon (4 hrs) for locksmith in case there was something inside, what???? Ended up carrying around our valuables every day... missing shampoo, conditioner, lotion on 1st day but was supplied every day afterward. Still confused about the safe issue. Anyway for the price paid, was well below expectations. Will not stay again for our 2 trips per year to Vegas.

I did not actually stay at Flamingo my last trip but have stayed there many many times. Sadly i feel it has lost much of its appeal in the last few years. I often have trouble using the internet in my hotel room. If you have rooms in the tower next to the linq there is no internet and they tell me the same thing every time. The answer will be we are looking into it there seems to be a problem. However if you get this over and over and its always the same tower you realize there actually is not internet on that side of the Flamingo. So between that and the lack of adequate dining aside from buffet or fast food it makes me sad to say the Flamingo has not changed for the better in the last few years.

Older casino rich in history but not the best looker on the strip. Conveniently located but not a place you want to spend your entire trip at. Pool closes on Halloween, no mention anywhere on the booking page. Very loud dance club next door, dance club inside attracts some hostile people. Hotel reps not informed (guy told me there was a 7.5$ shuttle to the airport) not true according to the guy employees by the resort Manning the taxi stand. There are better restaurants, pools that are open and quieter places to gamble on table games while in Vegas.
