"Easy and comfortable hotel"

Stayed 1 night as a stop over driving to Florida. Online check in and room choice is my favorite thing about Hilton app. We just went right to the room when we arrived. Happy hour was in progress when we arrived. It was a good group of people participating. The lobby smelled like an aquarium but we liked it. The huge fountain was beautiful. The whole hotel decor is darker colors and moody. The room also very dark and moody. It was clean and comfortable. We could not see out the windows. They need to be replaced. Easy check out process online. For some reason there was a $25 charge to my card from the hotel and I’m waiting for it to be released from my card. Not sure why there is that separate charge.

"SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!"

First and foremost I’d like to say I preferred to stay at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront but due to traveling with family we needed something with a separate bedroom. Upon check-in the lobby seemed inviting. However there were too many red flags 🚩 as I paid extra (the most possible) to get 2x Hilton honors points. We stayed in room 603 on 6/9. Order of dissatisfaction: 1) Elevators smelled like mop water. I gave them a pass as they did have wet floor signs on both elevators. However they were still here the next day and still smelled like mop water. 2) Room 603 smelled like mildew/smoke upon entry. (The hotel was aware that I have a child in the room as this was supposed to be non-smoking) 3) The bathrooms are very “dark” even with the shower light that is the only bright led, it’s hard to get ready in the mirror. 4) The bathroom fan blower did not work at all, hopefully you’re used to smelling whomever you’re traveling with 5) The shower smelled like a backed-up sewer 6) There were signs of a leak in the ceiling/mold 7) Wallpaper, paint, and door paint were all peeling 8) Handles were broken off of drawers 9) We were offered two complimentary alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks. Let’s just say the pre-made margarita mix or wine cooler had more alcohol than the juice cups they were handing out at the bar. 9) We prepared bottles in the kitchenette sink. Upon returning to the room (5hrs later) the water hadn’t drained one bit. This was a major flood concern as now we had to make sure we didn’t run anymore water in that sink as well as being worried that it was so bagged up that it would overflow while we were sleep. I did inform the front desk but the maintenance team had left for the night so I was offered a PLUNGER….which I refused. 10) I used the lobby bathroom which was deep and inviting and it was a shame that I would rather go to the lobby bathroom to handle business than my own room 11) Morning breakfast was mediocre. The entire dining room looked neglected with trash everywhere on the floor, tables were dirty with food on them, and you had to sift through the cups and silverware to find one that was clean This hotel will never see my $$$ again even if they offer 10x points

"Poor Representation of the Hilton Brand!!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

I Will Never Ever come back to this hotel again!!! I reserved a room at this hotel because it has the Hilton Brand, but it is NOT a Hilton Quality hotel at all!!! My family has used Hilton hotels in many states for family reunion's and other events over 40 years, and I have never seen or experienced what I experienced in this hotel. I am disabled with limited mobility and have dietary restrictions so after reading that the hotel has accessible rooms, room service from their "restaurant", indoor pool and jacuzzi, I reserved the room for my 65th birthday celebration with my sister. I had all my expectations crushed once we arrived, the clerk was cold and stone faced, and we had to pay for the entire stay before we could check in, which I had never had to do in decades of staying in Hilton properties, but understood why it was required once we reached the hallway to our room, because the order of Old Nasty carpet was strong and it didn't change once we reached the room, it did not, old furniture, old shabby beds that sink down when you sit on it, old shabby bed cover's and bed skirt's. We wanted to leave but felt that we would have a very hard time getting our money back, and we could not afford to go to another hotel. This hotel is more like a very cheap roadside motel that costs less than $50 per night, and should NOT be allowed to misrepresent the Hilton Brand, as most of the amenities it advertised is FALSELY ADVERTISED!!! I have never been happy to leave a Hilton Property before, but I so happy for check out day that I was up packed and ready to go at 3 am.

"Please do better ."

First let me say the young lady at the front desk (Kabria) was very sweet and helpful. I checked into my room with no problems. When I finally laid sown to rest and woke up I noticed that it was extremely warm in the room . My granddaughter was not feeling well so I turned the air on as low as it could go, then when I woke up in a sweat I realize that the air was not working. I got dressed and went to inform them at the front desk the manager was very nice about it and said that if I would have came down when I woke up at 2:am they would have changed the rooms , well I did not want to have my ill granddaughter get up in the middle of the night . She told the person at the front desk to get my info and she would see what she could do, unfortunately I have not heard from her. I have been staying at this hotel for years and also been a Hilton honors member for years .

"N. Hot Tub as advertised and pool is FREEZING COLD!"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5
Reviewed May 06, 2025
I booked week at this hotel thinking that after I got off business I could relax in the hot tub. They advertise they have one, but they do not. The pool was freezing cold so I couldn't use that either! I could have stayed in a cheaper hotel for less money that was closer to this location, but decided to stay as Embassy suites are normally very nice. Most of the staff were very nice only one at the front desk was not. Breakfast is the only good thing about this hotel, but I will not be staying there again, nor will my associates that were with me.
