"Overall wonderful stay!"

Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Breakfast servers were all very polite, professional and helpful. The valet***(not Drury employees, they are contract personnel)out front however, were rude and had a bad attitude. That did not make a great first impression. Once we got checked in, the other staff and overall conditions of the rooms, common areas, and food service made up for the poor service at valet. The 1 bedroom suite with separate living room was very clean and spacious. The room was quiet for the most part. Did not hear alot of exterior noise. The beds were semi-comfortable but that's a personal preference. Everything was in working order and there were plenty of outlets/USB ports throughout the rooms. The free night-time snacks and drinks were nice and free breakfast the next morning was really good with a terrific wait staff. Overall I would recommend staying at this Drury location. It's perfectly situated downtown, close to David Lawrence convention center, Heinz Hall, Benedum Center, Strip District, subway station and trolley stops. Valet needs vast improvement! Other than that it was a pleasure staying there.*******UPDATE... Drury manager Bridgette called us personally to follow up with our stay and experience with valet. She apologized and informed us that valet is a contracted service and not staffed or trained by the Drury. She refunded the parking/valet cost for our stay and apologized profusely for their attitude and behavior. Thank you Bridgette, you truly represent the Drury's standard of guest relations. They are working on getting a new contracted Valet service. Until that time guests might want to ask about other parking alternatives near by.

This was hands-down THE best hotel experience EVER. I don't give praise like this, but Drury earned it. From the first valet person to getting our car upon leaving, everyone was fantastic! We stayed in room 508, great water pressure, clean comfortable bed, good tv channel line-up, very good breakfast and the nightly Kickback time - WOW! I thought just snacks, but Saturday it was a full taco bar, hot dogs, complimentary drink tickets, chips and they do this EVERY NIGHT! We also ate at the inhouse restaurant; limited food, but excellent: fresh, flavorful and hot! My husband ranted about the hamburger for two hours after dinner! Very secure - card access needed for the elevator, free popcorn. Great downtown location - 15-minute walk to PNC stadium. There is a great rooftop deck with lots of seating, a pool and fitness center. With all of these amenities, the price is worth it - but even at that, pricing was not bad at all (under $150/night) If there is one 'complaint' - our room didn't have USB connections, so bring a two-prong charger; also, due to the age of the building (former 1930's bank - wonderful!), no fan in the bathroom. If you want a tremendous place to stay, choose this location - we are definitely coming back!!

This hotel I stayed initially because my daughter chose Pitt to study for her nursing school, secondly I like amenities this hotel has to offer, the pool and hot tub definitely the kids love! The rooftop gives an added place to relax, the gym is also another amenities that we enjoyed. The staff from front line to valet and the dining hall are pleasant and efficient. The free breakfast and dinner is icing on top but helps if you just wanted to start your day and end your day satiated. I am a rewards member of Drury because so far I have been here 4 times!

"Amazing upfitted hotel with history!"

Amazing hotel and staff. The staff was top notch as well as the accommodation itself. I didn't know when I first made the reservation that it was previously a Federal Reserve Building. Leaving bits of history like the safe doors in the basement put this property over the top. The high ceilings and grand rooms made me want to quite my job and move in. The breakfast was great as well as the evening food choices. I am not a drinker, but they do lot you a few tickets for beer, wine or a mixed libation during dinner. Very clean is an understatement! Everything you would need for a luxury hotel, without the price. If you need to know anything, ask Bridgette. She is super friendly as well as knowledgeable. I will be back!
