"Comparing Two Hotel Brands Near Cruise Terminal"

It's good for a quick stop and basic room. The cookies were okay, but could've been better. The rooms are serviced by a Soleus Air mini-split system which I was not immediately aware of until I called downstairs and someone showed me the extra remote, which I hadn't seen before. They do offer all-you-can-eat meals at their breakfast buffet, similar to the Embassy Suites, for $15, though. Still, the staff were all really nice and friendly. If you want a free breakfast and and a luxury suite experience, go to the Embassy Suites before your cruise. If you're just looking to relax and unwind before the morning of your big day, then Doubletree is your next best choice.

There are some pros and cons to this hotel. We arrived at 10p. Pros- the view of the marina is absolutely stunning. The front desk was very helpful. The warm welcome cookies- delicious! Cons- no towels in the bathroom. We showered and dried off with hand towels and wash rags. The toilet tank is barely connected to the toilet. The air conditioner has a super bright light on it and it was basically daylight in the room. Stains on the bedding and headboard.

On a business trip from Vegas and as a loyal Hilton customer, chose this location to wake up to the boats before heading back. Staff is great, but the rooms and hotel lobby are outdated and haven't been cared for in many years. Scuffs on every wall in the room, dents on furniture, stains on the carpet, bar stools and lamp shades. The kicker? The mattress is 10 years old and felt like it was 20... This room sees a lot of cruise travelers. Be prepared for lots of fees, but a great view if you pay extra for it. Would never stay here again if I need a good night's sleep. Do better! This isn't the level of service we are used to at a Hilton property!
