"Nice and relaxed though quite large."

A very peaceful and relaxed resort to stay in. The quick service has a nice selection of food though the menu could hold a little more options, though there are other places to eat. The resort is quite spread out so getting to certain areas requires a bus which could be quite difficult for some. The pools are again nice and chilled. The resort busses are great but depending on where you are situated you are either first on with a long ride or last with a shorter one (close to reception) but may be full, so a few more buses in the mornings could be good. But the water taxis to Disney springs is a nice option, though be good to have more info on timings or arrival and departure etc. The one bedroom suites are very spacious and very comfy with large baths etc so very comfortable, clean and accommodating.

"A very positive experience"

You may never read this review because it's positive, and who likes positive reviews right? Still, we had a great time staying at Saratoga Springs. Our group was four adults in the standard room. It has a queen bed and a double murphy bed. Having stayed a variety of Disney resorts, this one has about 100 square feet more space, which you really notice, particularly in the bathroom and hallway. The walk in shower isn't crammed right up against the toilet as is often the case. The small kitchenette provided an extra sink, and counter space. We never felt overcrowded, which happens in some resorts. A few other points: -We stayed in The Paddock section, but our closest bus stop was at Congress Park next door. (A less than 5-minute walk). -The walk to the lobby/check in/giftshop/food court was further, a good ten minutes, but we didn't mind. -The resort is very large, but walking was fine as it's a gorgeous property. -We never waited longer than 10 minutes for a bus to or from the parks, and it was usually closer to 5 minutes as the bus schedule is right there in the My Disney Experience App (which is super convenient). -We only ate one meal at the resort food court, Artist's Point, it was nice and had plenty of menu choices. It's small and there isn't much seating, but that's the case in a lot of these resorts. However, we got through the line and found seating quickly, so no complaints. -The staff was very friendly, not only answering our questions at the front desk, but also giving us the history of the Disney animated horses on the walls in the lobby. They acted proud of where they worked and wanted to educate us about it. I appreciated that. -I can't comment on housekeeping because we didn't use it during our 4-night stay, though they did empty the trash each day while we were gone. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again. We're not DVC members, so we used points through David's DVC rentals to get this room for a great price.

"Welcome to Disney’s Saratoga Springs, A Black Mirror Resort & Surveillance Spa!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

Ever wondered what it’s like to pay luxury prices for the vibe of a court-mandated halfway house? Disney’s Saratoga Springs has you covered! Every morning, enjoy your “safety check” — that’s Disney-speak for “we’re coming into your room whether you like it or not.” It’s like a surprise visit from your parole officer, except this one wears mouse ears and carries a clipboard. The décor? Picture a Section 8 housing complex cosplaying as a spa. The hallways say “correctional facility,” the landscaping screams “we gave up,” and the energy is pure “corporate retreat in hell.” Management’s excuse? “It’s for your safety!” — the same way a toddler insists the dog wanted that haircut. They claim all hotels do this because of “Las Vegas.” Yeah, totally. That’s what the Saratoga Springs staff are currently in your closet checking for… danger? FYI, NO other resort/hotel that I've been to have ever done this. And yes, you must sign a waiver saying Disney can enter your room anytime. Don’t sign? No problem — they’ll just suggest homelessness. Magical! So if you love unconstitutional room raids, cheap finishes, and the constant feeling you’re living in an episode of Black Mirror: The Mickey Mouse Edition — congratulations, your dream resort exists. For the rest of us, go to Universal. At least there, the only thing breaking into your room is a velociraptor.

"Just not for us!"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

Lots of people love this resort, but it just wasn’t for us. We loved being a short walk away from Disney Springs, and I enjoyed many a morning coffee sat out on the balcony overlooking the river, but this resort is just too big and spread out for us and we were disappointed to discover the buildings are more motel in style than hotel. The room itself was nice, but the outer areas of the buildings just felt a bit tired compared to the other deluxe resorts we’ve stayed in. The walk to the quick service and main facilities was about 10mins from where we were, and it just never felt homey to us. We like to walk through lobbies and say hi to cast members as we pass, which you just don’t get here. I’m glad we stayed here to know it’s not for us. I will say though that the busses, which we thought might get annoying, were absolutely fine!

Returned to this resort after 12 years and it didn’t disappoint. Outstanding level of customer service, particularly Alexa on front desk who helped us at the start of our holiday to resolve an issue not connected to the resort. Room location and surrounding location was excellent and housekeeping staff really looked after us throughout our 18 night stay. Looking forward to returning again in 2026 !!!
