I’m dictating this from my parents who just stayed at the 1 Hotel Seattle while visiting their son (me) and asked me to type their review: We had a wonderful stay at the 1 Hotel. The staff were very helpful with everything from check-in to check-out and from breakfast to dinner. We were sure to get everyone’s names and want to give a massive “THANK YOU” to Ellen, Chris, Mark, Vivi, Leo, Monika, and David. They all made our stay memorable and we felt welcomed every time we stepped foot inside the hotel. We will always make 1 Hotel our Seattle go-to hotel.

"Raising the Bar on Hospitality at One Hotel Seattle"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed August 27, 2025 NEW
We originally planned to check out on the 26th but ended up extending our stay at One Hotel Seattle until the 28th. From beginning to end, the service here was world-class. One moment that stood out was when my girlfriend called ahead to let the hotel know it was her best friend’s birthday. The staff went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and spot-on recommendations. They really made the celebration special. We also had the chance to take an Audi out for a two-hour drive, which was an incredible experience. I’ve always been a Toyota guy, but that drive actually had me considering an Audi, and that’s saying something. On the last night of our stay, the main elevator went out of service. That could have been a serious downside, but the way the staff handled it showed their professionalism. They quickly transitioned guests to the service elevators, added a bench and plants to make it more comfortable, and even stationed a team member there full-time. What struck me most was that those areas are usually private spaces for staff. It’s the one place they can step away and take a breath. Having that taken away and still showing up with kindness, patience, and professionalism is no small thing. That level of sacrifice speaks volumes about this team. The people here are what make One Hotel Seattle truly special. A few names deserve special recognition: • Tyler went above and beyond every time. Professional, reliable, and always ready with great recommendations. • Ashley (or Ashlyn) was a constant bright presence at the bar, always upbeat and welcoming. • Ellen was warm, genuine, and made incredible cocktails while making us feel right at home. • Okar handled everything behind the scenes seamlessly, from reservations to ensuring our days ran smoothly. • Shay was thoughtful and resourceful, even down to little details like tracking down the fruit my girlfriend wanted. It sounds small, but it meant a lot. • Leo was great to interact with, always friendly and positive. • David was dependable and personable, especially when he drove us within the two-mile guest radius. His restaurant recommendations were excellent. • Steven brought the kind of energy every bartender should. Charismatic, funny, and on point with his drinks. • Lawrence was another standout behind the bar, reading the vibe perfectly and crafting excellent cocktails. • Monica was a joy to be around. Professional, sweet, and always smiling. • Skylar was genuine and down-to-earth. From conversations to simple fist bumps, he made me feel at home. • Helen was kind, welcoming, and consistently attentive, whether it was coffee or cocktails. • Gene went out of his way to make sure my girlfriend’s best friend had the best birthday possible, which meant the world to both of us. • Nacho was reliable and professional, always offering the right recommendation at the right time. Every single staff member reflected the brand’s values and turned potential setbacks into proof of just how strong their hospitality is. Because of this team, I can confidently say One Hotel Seattle doesn’t just meet the standard for luxury. It raises the bar. Other hotels should take notes. This property sets the example of what true hospitality looks like, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Staying at 1 Hotel Seattle has been nothing short of magical ✨ The entire team here is truly next level — so friendly, so kind, and constantly going above + beyond in the sweetest ways. From little moments (like me eating strawberries in the lobby and someone noticing I needed a bowl for compost 🥹🍓) to the big ones (birthday surprises, restaurant recs, and the BEST cocktails ever), they made me feel so cared for every single day. Special shoutouts because they honestly deserve ALL the flowers 💐: • Monica gave us the most amazing recommendations and has been so sweet + welcoming from the start. • Steven makes the best cocktails — seriously such a vibe behind the bar 🍸. • Ellen kept us laughing and entertained, such a gem of a human 💕. • Shay put us on to the best restaurants (including the dim sum spot of my dreams!) and had the best recs. • Gean went above + beyond setting up the most gorgeous birthday surprise for my bestie — it was breathtaking 🎉. • Okar, Nacho, and Dayana were all SO amazing, so warm, so fun, and just made every interaction feel special. • Karol has been such a sweetheart and always so thoughtful 💖. • Carlos is an absolute gentleman — he took such good care of us and made sure we always felt looked after 🙏. On top of all that — the food is delicious, the drinks are perfection, the coffee keeps me alive, and the overall vibe is just chef’s kiss 🌿✨ If you’re ever in Seattle, you HAVE to stay here. This hotel doesn’t just give you a place to sleep, it gives you an experience you’ll never forget. Mahalo nui loa 🌺

"Fantastic and Friendly, Unique and Comfortable!"

I cannot say enough about this hotel! When we first arrived, the most personable and helpful person named Shae greeted us and made us instantly excited about our stay, and also gave us great dish recommendations for La Loba. The lobby is just breathtaking, especially the wall going up the stairs with a mural of Mt. Rainier made entirely of living greenery. The fresh fruit and water put out every morning in the lobby was a nice touch! Once in our room we were thrilled how they had personalized the TV screen with my name (nice touch!). The room was perfect; clean, eco friendly, and spacious. The view of the Space Needle was fantastic! The complimentary lotion smelled AMAZING and we instantly became obsessed with all the bath products. Every time we left the hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were even given a ride to Pikes Market in their hotel vehicle. The manager, Gene, was also excellent, giving us info on the other 1 Hotel locations, and even gave us a tour of one of their suites since I am returning in August. Another thing we loved about this hotel is how close Whole Foods was located. We were able to get extra drinks and snacks to keep in our room. It is also fairly close to many shops and is walkable to numerous restaurants too. I didn't partake in the free yoga they provide with Dryp yoga studio, but my daughter who lives in Seattle is a member there and LOVES their yoga classes. There was a yoga mat and a yoga block in our room to use if we had participated. I am coming back in a week and staying at 1 Hotel again, and would not have considered trying a different hotel when I know this one is fantastic!
