We had breakfast at La Perla restaurant , which is in the hotel. The wait staff was good. The food was very disappointing. The menu offered house made orange juice. It was straight out of a carton. The pink shrimp benedict was good, but it was supposed to come with multigrain toast; ordinary white toast was served instead. The restaurant did not have decaffeinated coffee.

WOW!! I got upgraded to the 7th floor and it was beyond amazing. The views are legendary among locals back when this was a bar. The rooms ultra cool. When I return I will book the 7th floor and not hope for an upgrade if a room is open. Entire property is chic and the energy at night amazing with live music in the bar area. The new hot spot in town and if you can get the rooftop suites -- they are better than the floor just above Duval street (which is killer too). Can't wait for next vist and stay at La Concha!!

From the moment we arrived Jennifer gave us a warm welcome and escort to our room that made us feel like we were in her home not just a hotel. No doubt she understands hospitality and enjoys making sure you’re going to have a great experience. We stayed in room 706 which was well set up, had a wonderful lounge terrace and view, and was very clean and quiet. Geraldine took great care of us at breakfast each day and was delightfully energetic. The hotel is centrally located on Duval street which made our meandering easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our food experiences at Lola’s, Martins, Bagatelle,Trolley Pizzeria and Sunny Eggs for lunch who had the best avocado toast sandwiches, smoothies and home baked pastries.

Had a great stay at La Concha! The staff, room, location, and activities were great! Always something to do here even when at the hotel. Especially enjoyed the activities put on by Jay and the Finesse Experience like the pool games and yoga! Overall a fantastic place to stay that I recommend!
