"Charged after check out , although paid entire amount through makemytrip"

stayed from October 22 to 26.I booked and paid entire amount through makemytrip. After check out , saw that hotel tariff is again deducted. Although I contacted through malemytrip, till now did not get the refund. Credit card was neither requested nor informed about it.Trying to get it as refund from October.Booking ID NH72164427409954

Get charge twice for the room, and the hotel promise credit the second charge and didn't. Terrible customer care. Stay away from this place.

"STAY AWAY!!!"

STAY AWAY!! I travel often for work and for fun, and this has truly been one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Throughout our entire stay they never cleaned our room once. We spoke to the front desk on two different occasions and were told it would be taken care of, yet nothing changed. We reached out to IHG customer service by the end of the third night because it was still not resolved, and they notified hotel management. Still no response. No follow up. No cleaning. On the fourth night we had to raise the issue yet again because absolutely nothing had been addressed. The bare minimum is to have soap, trash removed, and clean towels. Instead we were given one tiny bar of soap to somehow use for both showering and washing hands for two people across four nights. We had to go buy our own basic toiletries. The trash piled up, towels remained dirty, and the room was left in the same state the entire stay. To spend this kind of money and be treated like our concerns did not matter at all was beyond frustrating. There was zero accountability and zero effort to fix the problem. The staff offered empty promises and provided no service whatsoever. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Avoid this place"

I have stayed at many IHG hotels and been pleased with them all, until my stay at the Crown Plaza midtown Atlanta. This hotel is under staffed and needs significant maintenance. The two staff working the bar/restaurant were trying as hard as they could but could but could not keep up. Our room on checkin had a badly leaking shower. We asked three times to have it fixed. It has still not been done. We are on the second leg of our trip so wanted to do some laundry. They have no laundry detergent or other supplies in the hotel. We had to Uber to a grocery store to buy some. Our room has a thermostat but it apparently does not work as our room stayed the same 66 degrees regardless of what we set the thermostat at. I suggest avoiding this place. It in not worth the price.

Mixed score card: place is old, the furniture in the room was torn up. Carpet was as well. Ac/heat worked well and we needed it because it was freaking cold, in the 40s. Could be a real gem if someone replaced the stained chairs in the dinning room. Yuck. Like gross. Staff was attentive but not met with a smile . Seems as though the place doesn’t appreciate a staff to achieve great customer service. The place is right across the street from Emory midtown which is why we came. I stayed in many midtown hotels in midtown for work and this is by far the worst. And it’s not cheap. A classic case of not getting what you paid for. Room was beaten up, the furniture was torn up. The carpet stopped three inches from a balcony that wouldn’t open. I know they rarely of every steam clean hotel carpets but this one needed replacement. No evidence of rodents or vermin and I was surprised not to find any. Light bills were burned out or missing and the outlets for charging we broken or missing. Most importantly, congrats to the maid staff, the bathroom was spotless and in repair. No mold anywhere and the shower curtain looks like it was properly laundered. I was shocked given the tattered state of the rest of the room. Big bravo for me because we were about to get another hotel. A sum up: staff gets a solid B. Good not great. Physical plant is a D. IHG can renovate this place. Caveat: given how close to the sports venues in midtown, the place gets a lot of crowds that are here for the party . I get it but not a reason to not maintain the place. Room: a well earned F except the bathroom which is a C because it’s ok and worn. Fixtures were worn and rusty. So to me: a generous C. Also, not the safest neighborhood but far from the worst. Not a place to walk around because Tod have to walk closer to the sports venues.
