"Great stay"

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the front desk workers were very nice and helpful with suggestions for dinner places in the city. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable bed. Great breakfast selection ( waffles, breads, bagels, yogurt, oat meal, and then hot eggs, breakfast meat) and juices. Also offered free hot coffee, hot water for tea and hot chocolate with cookies in the day. The location was convenient and easy parking. Would stay here again.

"Great dog friendly hotel value"

Wonderful experience. We stayed here from Monday December 1 7ntil Thursday December 4. The hotel is clean and we'll maintained. We had one issue with heat and staff responded instantly. When problem could not be solved we were immediately moved to a similar room with no problems. All staff is friendly, professional, and responsive to needs. Breakfast is great and even cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate available in lobby/breakfast area. We did not have swim wear, but there is a great enclosed heated pool. Our dogs were welcomed and also had a great stay. The hotel is located in a small shopping center with restaurants and stores in walking distance. Over all great value.

I was very fortunate to be able stay here after the hurricane, compliments of FEMA. After being at another ("fancier") hotel in the area, where the level of care and respect was subpar, this place has been a true godsend. The staff is amazing,, led by a GM who goes above and beyond in her demonstration of care for people. The culture is caring, welcoming and down to earth, which is an obvious example of her leadership. The hotel is in a great part of town, conveniently located right next to a health food supermarket, a Brazilian steak house and an Italian restaurant and less than 5 minutes to downtown. The fact that pets are allowed is great and they do their best to make sure that the hotel is well taken care of. The entranceway is gorgeous with very high ceilings, it feels very inviting and was well designed. There is an open breakfast area, a cozy nook for extra living space, also an indoor heated swimming pool and a fire pit outside in the courtyard. Again, the staff is great and overall this has been a true Ashevillian experience. Thank you to Cerena, La Sheba and all the staff that have made this a wonderful experience for us. We are very grateful.

This is our third and final visit to this hotel. The facility needs repairs. The shower was missing a shelf, the shower floor was filthy, the white sheets were pilling with black fabric, and the bottom drawer of the dresser wouldn't close. The room had a moldy smell, and the hallways reeked of cigarettes. Breakfast offerings are good, and the staff is friendly.
