Nice, new room. Friendly and polite staff. Clean. Convenient location to tourist attractions. The only thing that was concerning was the homeless foot traffic near the parking lot. Of course, the hotel has no control over this.

The location of this hotel is beneficial for quick access to downtown asheville, or other necessities in the area. The creek that goes along the property is a nice touch and the hotel itself is tucked back in which creates a set apart from town atmosphere, while still being in town. The space was clean, with well placed lighting and a tasteful use of lamps for ambiance. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The lobby was decorated in a way that created an uplifting atmosphere. It felt safe and secure, a much needed reprieve. The pool being open until 10 was a nice touch, though the hot tub was not operational during my stay which was unfortunate. The breakfast the next morning was a real treat and I felt grateful for my stay at the country inn & suites. Thank you Michaela and staff.

Overall we would recommend. Good location and easy to get to many things quickly. Loved the larger room with a sitting area. Nice to come back and not feel like you have to sit on your bed. Room was clean and housekeeping staff was so sweet. Our concerns were three items. The first is we could not turn the AC down to 68 without it beeping. Twice we contacted the front desk to let them know. They showed us how to reset it. The air not running made the room feel stuffy which meant sleepless nights. Thought about buying a fan to circulate the air. Also we chose this location due to the hot tub but it was not waking. Lastly the breakfast was just meh. The same food for 5 days was old. A little more variety other than biscuits, hydrated eggs and for those who eat meat sausage every day. One can only eat so much of that and the waffle maker was ridiculous as the batter was too thin so they came out wonky. Overall a good stay even though our view was the roof.
