"No excuse for the filth"

I never leave a review but this place deserves a bad one. We were in town for the Nationals car show. I was surprised to even get a room but now see why there were rooms available. The first room we were put in, room 219, had such a bad mold issue my asthma instantly kicked in. We finally discovered a pile of possible puke that had been there so long it was covered in mold which had spread to the AC unit next to it. We were then moved to room 223 which was much better but still was sub par. None of the drains worked properly and I think there was poop on the bathroom wall near the toilet but didn’t really get close enough to check. The stairwells were very dirty and carpeting throughout the hotel has probably not been washed in years. We will never stay here again.

"Just ok ..wouldn't stay there again"

Well, I wanted to do a 2 1/2 but it wasn't an option. I gave a 3 because the breakfast was good as was the coffee. The bed was clean and comfortable. The carpets in the room and hallways were very dirty. The paint on the doors needed a redo. The little balcony off our room was falling apart and needed repair. The shower had hair from the last guest which was nasty. The little body wash bottle was half full I guess the last guest used that too . It wasn't changed when they left . We wont stay there again. The vending machine that had the drinks was empty all sold out . except for lemonade. Hot tub wasn't working either so we couldn't use that. For almost 300.00 a night I would expect better! Needs a lot of upgrades oh and no elevator either.

Front desk needs to be retrained. No customer service. No personality and definitely not results driven. My room was very very dirty. Stains on carpet, mold on ceiling, tub, sink and toilet not clean. After two hours air conditioner started to work. Shower curtain was dirty. Called front desk about a/c. Was told it takes a while. Asked to be moved. She stated hotel was sold out. By the looks of the parking lot I don’t believe it was so. I was extremely disappointed. Shout out to Andrea, a housekeeper who was getting off her shift offered to clean the room, ceiling, bathroom and change the sheets. This girl is management material! Clarion should be happy they have her as an employee. As a former travel agent, this hotel in my opinion does not meet the standards of Choice, inc. A hotel can be run down, however, there is never any excuse that one’s room is not clean. I would not recommend. Pros: hotel within walking distance of the outlets. If on the outlets.

This place has seen better days. Believe all the bad reviews. It worked out fine for what we needed, but I wouldn't stay there again. The only positive things were that the bed was somewhat comfortable, was in a safe location and it was conveniently located right next to a Starbucks. Other than that, not impressed. Air conditioning unit was so loud that I had to wear earplugs at night to keep from it waking me up. Water pressure was low. The "breakfast" offered was not good. The sausage looked like a hamburger that had been boiled. At least, they had bagels. The hot tub was STILL NOT FIXED. There were kids and dogs running up and down our halls at night when we were getting ready to sleep. I am not normally picky about things, but when you're paying a substantial fee, these things matter. Getting out of the parking lot onto the 9 was a nightmare. They obviously don't care because they respond to these reviews, but do nothing about it. There are plenty of other options. Use them.

My family and I had a nice stay here. The hotel is older but very clean with a nice pool. There was also a nice breakfast there in the morning also. There is plenty of parking at the hotel and the outlets of Lake George are right there. This is a nice place to stay if you are in the area.
