If you want cheap on the strip - I have the place. No room service, understaffed at check in, tried calling room service (no one ever answered) so I went down for a couple clean towels ( after 3 days) 20 minutes wait FOR 3 CLEAN TOWELS. The door between my room and a joining was SOOO thin, Could here entire conversation ( very awkward). But if you want cheap and just need a smokey place to rest your head - CC is for you!

"I’m so sad to watch this place deteriorate"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

It seems inevitable, but this place has fallen into ruin. I came back to Vegas for the first time in 20 years with my mom and 2 teenagers (February 2026). Virtually nothing about the casino has been updated in that time. It looks decrepit, a late 1980s archaeological site. The big clown sign isn’t even lighting up (only the words and part of his hair). The rooms are very lacking in amenities. There are no blankets on the beds (we had to request some). No mini fridge, coffee pot or microwave included without having to upgrade. No included map, welcome guides, or information. While rooms in the west tower were advertised as “newly refurbished” the only upgrade seems to be the lvp flooring, wall decor and maybe the beds. The bathroom and furniture are very outdated. The WiFi barely works. We also had the horrible experience of having the guests next to us be incredibly loud (adults talking and yelling at full volume at 6:30 am and a kid having a screaming meltdown), which we could hear intimately through the paper-thin conjoining door. There are no hot tubs. Only a single one in the RV park and so we don’t have access to it. At check-in staff were mostly unhelpful and there was only a couple of individuals helping people use the dozen check in kiosks. Another woman was loudly arguing with the staff when one told her there “is no line” (despite the distinct large line of people waiting to talk to an actual person). The original front desks counters weren’t even being used. The whole area looks like they are already winding the place down. It is honestly depressing staying here. There is no nice dining options or shops, anything that even pretends to add luxury or even real hospitality, there are little hodgepodge construction projects everywhere that are clearly not real upgrades, just patchwork attempts to limp along until the property is sold. Please do yourself a favor and stay somewhere that doesn’t feel like you are spending the night at Walmart. It breaks my heart that the colorful lights that defined the Strip have disappeared (the Stardust, Riviera, and Frontier are all gone, replaced by shiny glass buildings that make you feel like you could be in any other large city). I deeply hope that whatever is built here when this place is demoed is a resort that revives the glittering flare and fun of the strip and not another high-brow massive tower. While the hokey nature of Circus Circus will not be missed, it would be wonderful to have something bring fresh personality and interest to the north end.

"Great base hotel and midstay is perfect for retro games!"

Circus circus may not be the most modern hotel on the strip but we as a base for us being out from around all day for 4 adults it was affordable and exactually what we needed. Rooms were clean and Housekeeping left you to it until you needed them which we much prefer. Just give them a call in the morning and everything was sorted that day for you. I would say book a room in the skyrise or main hotel towers though for sure! Noise levels were not an issue where we were which was good. Walls are a bit thin but we are heavy sleepers so didn't again bother us at all. We stayed in the hotel for one evening and had a lovely pizza in the pizzeria and the midway was so much fun! Me and may partner (in our 30s) has loads of fun on the old games machines from when we were kids. Atmosphere was nice and friendly.I don't smoke but my partner and his nan liked the fact that they could smoke and still enjoy the casino area. The smoking isn't bother me at all. The staff we encountered were super friendly and couldn't fault them always smiled and said hi. We were at the hotel for 14 nights and the pool was a lovely place to wind down on a couple of those days. At the time we went there were not to many kids so was perfect. Location was amazing for us and we were doing stuff all over it was right in the middle of where we needed to be with easy access to the deuce bus and taxis were there ready throughout the day. I would stay here again if we ever ventured to las Vegas again and the issues we encountered were always acknowledged and sorted the same day by the teams. (Most just standard hospitality issues). Thankyou for having us!
