"Convenient hotel - great service!"

I stayed at Caption by Hyatt in mid-April 2026 for a girls weekend in Nashville. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Nashville. The service was outstanding! Shout out to Kelvin & Briana at the front desk for this hospitality. Kelvin went above and beyond helping me find some pain relievers in the hotel market, along with numerous other things. He’s basically my Nashville uncle now! LOCATION: This hotel has great location for going out in the gulch and broadway. It’s very walkable, easy to get a Lyft, or pick up a lime scooter. They have valet parking (the valet staff, though not hotel employees, were so nice!) but I elected to park in the garage across the street which was half the price. ROOM: I had a standard king room and it was adequately sized, though perhaps on the smaller side for two girls for a weekend. One thing to note is that if you are low-vision have difficulty with low-lighting environments, this hotel may not be for you. My room had an overhead light only in the hall entrance and bathroom, otherwise the room had 2 table lamps and one taller lamp. FOOD & BEVERAGE: I didn’t try any food while I was staying at Caption, though they seemed to have a variety of options, some of which were included in their happy hour specials. I appreciated that they had a fairly full service coffee bar in the lobby, which made a great cold brew coffee. Drawbacks: this is silly, but the elevators are so slow. They have an elevator system where you have to tap your card to call the elevator and it tells you which of the three elevators to use. It seemed to take extra long. I received a pre-check in text from the hotel (possibly because of my Hyatt loyalty status) which was very appreciated and a useful way to communicate. Their text said upon my approval I could use “zingle” to communicate with them, though no one ever told me what that was or how to use it. Texting worked just fine though! I wish there was an outdoor sitting area at this hotel to enjoy the sunshine. But the lobby is cozy and sunlit just as well.
