"Hood rat hotel"

Bed was disgusting. everything was overpriced. we had a small thermal bag with our babies milk cheese sticks juice and chips and the pool guy said we couldn't have any coolers whatsoever at the pool. Very inconvenient for people with small children the elevators took forever to work and they expect you to go to the 9th floor to get snacks and milk for your children. And the only reason they do that is so they can sell you their overpriced alcohol and water and $3 hot dogs. Pool was fun for the kids. But could be better. Maybe water cannons that actually shoot water instead of just drip water out of them. Door to our room would not open. Had to go all the way down to the front desk and had a maintenance man come open the door. it was painted shut .took 15 minutes to get into the parking deck due to all the rental scooters blocking the road. Had to keep your children very close due to no one following traffic rules . scooters were driving on the sidewalk going in between cars driving very recklessly and not a single cop in sight. I saw three ladies twerking at the front entrance to the hotel on the way in my five year old son asked me if those ladies were sick .very inappropriate. One of the girls titties popped out of her bra right in front of my son I would not recommend taking your small children here. Door keys would stop working and it would take 20 swipes to get the door open. there were some good things here but they are not worth mentioning due to all the bad. The staff at the breakfast buffet were very nice but the employees at their gecko restaurant are extremely rude. there's other stuff but I'm tired of writing I would recommend staying somewhere further down the beach at a calmer area. Entire Hotel smelled like skunk weed. people were smoking so much weed you could see clouds of it in the hallway my wife even witnessed a drug deal go down in the parking garage right in front of our car

"Terrible stay"

Have been coming here for years, two or three times and year and this is by far the worst stay I've ever had at any hotel. We stood in line for an hour to check in on Friday. Our room was never cleaned and we did not get fresh towels. Sunday we had to call twice to have clean towels brought to the room. Room still wasn't cleaned and trash not removed. We will not be returning.

We’ve stayed at CQ a couple of times a year for the past several years. We were just there in November and all was ok. However this weekend was BAD! Check in was horrible, it took an hour to check in. The next day our room was cleaned but they did not restock toilet paper. I called the front desk and asked for some. 4 hours later I finally walked down to the front desk and cut in the once again long line to get some. (There needs to be a separate line for people who are already checked in) Yesterday our room was cleaned and they took all dirty towels and wash clothes but did not replace them with clean ones. Another call to front desk and someone brought clean ones. The bar at level 6 was running out of everything and our food credits were not working right. The staff there are doing what they can with what they have to work with. I really feel bad for them. Also arcade cards didn’t have the credits, had to stand in line to get those added on as well. The attached picture is the wall behind the couch where it looks like some kind of slime stain or something? Sorry to say that this will be our last trip there.

"Worst vacation"

This was the worst vacation ever. We checked in after standing there for a hour. Our room was never cleaned they had to find us a different room. Then we got stuck in the elevator numerous times. The pool water was low, no food credit like we were suppose to. Then we had to check out pool towels, our arcade cards were not loaded with our credit. The wash and dryer took my money and didn’t wash or dry our cloths. The front desk lady was mad I had several complaints and only refunded me $30.... not happy I want a full refund. Not to mention a fight at 3 am work is up and the police had to escort them out. Not very family oriented.

"Just plain awful....."

The check In process at this hotel is horrible. You can’t wheel you luggage into the front lobby on the cart, but they don’t tell you that when you park, they wait until you have completely load your cart and wheel it to the front steps to say that you have to take your things in through the garage. After waiting an hour to check in we went to our room, and found a hair on the side of the tub on the bath mat, something smeared on one of the pillows and something that resembled blood on the head board. The overall condition of the room and hotel is just run down. We stayed for two night and the over powering smell of marijuana was a constant issue. You can’t go out on to the balcony with out getting a contact high, or breathing cigarette smoke. They say they are a smoke free facility but allow guests to smoke on the balcony. They might as well be smoking (either type) in our room because it just seeps in through the vents. We called about the pot smell but nothing was done, because it kept happening all weekend. The elevators are in disrepair they shake, rattle, and the doors will close on you if you don’t move fast enough. This weekend was a complete disaster, we stayed here because a friend recommended it. We won’t ever be back.

We had a great family vacation, the time we went it was not to crowed had a great view of the ocean and the rooms was really nice and updated (was worried bc I read reviews where it said they were not clean). My 6 and 3 year old loved the 6 level with games, we played bowling also. The pool was heated outside but not the kiddly area, but no place is.
