"Anniversary Stay"

We went to Hot Springs for our 24th anniversary. I ordered a room with a balcony and got there and got a room with a window. We found out that another couple had a room with a balcony too and they put them on the far end of us. This was so upsetting, I cried. I dreamt of us sitting on the balcony holding hands and viewing the lake. At 69 we do not have that many anniversaries left. The man at the front desk acted like he could care less. Lena was wonderful. She took care of it on Saturday night and got us a room with a balcony. It was partly a good day but a bad storm came in so we got completely soaked. We was not able to go out to eat a nice meal for our anniversary so we brought back a Whataburger. We were able to move to the next floor with a balcony and sat outside for about 30 minutes as it was getting too dark. Thank you so much Lena! You get a score of an 11!

Very nice stay. Beautiful scenery to wake up to. Coffee on the balcony was great. Sitting out by the lake in the evening was even better.

"Quick Stay, good, but needs improvement"

In the room is appears clean but the freezer not clean ,the ref or microwave making knocking sound. Shower not working. & some parts of room needs to be repaired.Receptionist that night expedite processof checking in. The staff @the breakfast that morning are nice and helpful. The breakfast selections are good.

The hallway smelled of wet mold, and the room was even worse. We asked to change rooms and initially was told no. After going back to the room frustrated I had my boyfriend go back to talk to the attendant and he was able to get the attendant to switch our room and the smell wasn't better. It had a dampness in the room we stayed the night but went to a new hotel the next day. Definitely a waste of money. The facility was not clean and could use an update. New paint, tubs, toilets, bed etc.

This was a terrible experience. We thought this hotel was nice, but it was more of a nightmare. Heating and cooling did not work properly. Exhaust fan in the bathroom could not be shut off. Tiles next to the shower were nasty. Overall not worth the money. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay at a great hotel.
