"It Was A Bed"

We probably could have skipped this place and gone on to Anchorage. We had a one king bed room. It was small and cold. Our view was of the roof. The desk clerk wrote down the wrong room number on the key envelope so I had to go back down to the lobby and get the right number. The tram was closed for maintenance.

Large resort in gorgeous location in urgent need of refurbishment, the bedrooms in particular. Beautiful Japanese inspired architecture, although the lobby and the bedrooms need better lighting, both very dark. The food at the bar and restaurant —dinner and breakfast— was very good with generous portions. Unfortunately, my crab pasta at dinner was so hot (spicy), that wasn’t able to finish it. Although they could use more staff in the restaurant, service was good and very friendly.

Wow, awesome resort. We took advantage of all it had to offer. Bell people were super nice and helpful. Rooms were running hot but they worked on them. Great breakfast. Took the tram to the top. Enjoyed the community around it immensely. Awesome spot.

"Pleasant stay, need more amenities and better resturant food needed"

We had a fantastic time at Alyeska Resort overall. The ski-in, ski-out access was perfect for making the most of the slopes, and it was so convenient to hit the mountain right from the resort. I also loved the variety of activities available, from skiing to exploring the area, and the pool was a great way to unwind after a day on the mountain. The room, while cozy, was on the smaller side. I did wish there were a few more amenities, such as a microwave and a refrigerator, to make it feel more comfortable for longer stays. While the resort offers great facilities, I think the restaurant food could use some improvement. It was decent, but there were moments when the quality didn’t quite match the resort’s overall standard. That said, the beautiful setting, wonderful staff, Greg at bell desk went about and beyond ; and the amazing ski access made it an enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely recommend it for those looking for a great spring break getaway!

The resort is one of a kind. Great spa a team ringer in front. Polar bears in the lobby. Everyone was great but Caleb Hobgood was exceptional. He anticipates the neeeds of guests and shows southern hospitality way up north. The warmth was welcomed on a cold night.
