Where to See Santa in Pigeon Forge

It’s a Christmas tradition to sit on Santa’s knee and tell him what’s on your holiday wish list. In Pigeon Forge, families can visit Santa at a variety of locations. Tell Ol’ St. Nick what you hope to be under the tree this year. Sometimes simply seeing Santa is enough to make a child’s heart swell. Make the season brighter by discovering where you can find Santa in Pigeon Forge this season.

Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland

Families love visiting Shadrack’s for the auto tour through thousands of holiday lights and displays. Vibrant LED lights are themed and synced with Christmas carols for a truly festive event. After the tour of the lights, visit Santa’s Village where you can drink cocoa and eat cookies, all while meeting with the man in red—Santa! Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland is open from November 8, 2019 – January 5, 2020, from dusk (about 6:00 pm) until 10:00 pm. Be sure to bring your camera for photos!

Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade

The 44th annual Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade is a spirited event with 100 parade participants, including marching bands, floats and more in downtown Gatlinburg. Of course, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be leading the festivities and greeting parade guests on December 6, 2019 at 7:30 pm. The parade begins at Baskins Creek Bypass on East Parkway and makes it way through to Traffic Light #10 in Downtown Gatlinburg.

Incredible Christmas Place

The Incredible Christmas Place is just that—incredible! Celebrating Christmas year-round, it’s dedicated to all things holly and jolly. If you’re looking for Santa in Pigeon Forge, you’ll find him at the Incredible Christmas Place. New for the 2019 holiday season, The Incredible Christmas Place has added Santa’s Haus, a building dedicated entirely to Santa. Guests can enjoy visiting with Santa, getting pictures taken, and participating in scheduled activities. Further, activities include cookie decorating, story time with milk and cookies, ornament making, and writing letters to Santa.


Dollywood hosts a Smoky Mountain Christmas festival during the holiday season, decking out the theme park with more than four million lights and dazzling décor. Head to Santa’s Workshop in Santa Land to visit with Santa. Surrounded by larger-than-life toys and interactive displays, this is the ideal place to whisper your wish list to Santa. Smoky Mountain Christmas festival is open through January 4, 2020.

The Island

Another place to snag a photo with Santa in Pigeon Forge is at The Island. On select dates throughout November and December, Santa will be available for pictures, wish lists, and holiday fun. While you’re at The Island, don’t forget to finish up your Christmas gift shopping!

Breakfast or Brunch With Santa

Make reservations to share a breakfast or brunch meal with Santa on December 7th at the Pottery House Cafe at the Old Mill. The cafe will serve breakfast at 8:15 am and brunch from 10 am to 11:15 am. Also, kids can get their photo taken with Santa and make crafts in the Kids’ Craft Tent from 10 am to 2 pm.

The Polar Express with the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad

The classic children’s Christmas tale, the Polar Express, comes to life on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. From November 8, 2019 through December 31, 2019, children and their parents can ride the train adorned with Christmas decor, goodies, and activities to get into the holiday spirit. In addition, kids can greet Santa Claus, taking pictures with him as well as receiving a special silver sleigh bell gift.
