In Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, they’re celebrating our nation’s Independence Day with an all-day festival featuring music, games, and, of course, fireworks! The Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival is an area tradition which brings families from across the country together year after year. Even better, it’s completely free to attend. Don’t miss one of the best 4th of July events in the Southeast!

Festival Details

Are you planning to attend this year's Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival? If so, there are a few details you need to know.

The Patriot Festival is held each year at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge located at 186 Old Mill Ave. This sprawling park is dedicated to the veterans from the greater Sevier County area.

Festival Schedule
The schedule of events for the Patriot Festival is as follows:

  • 2:00 pm: Free Kids' Carnival along with food vendors kick off the festivities.
  • 4:00 pm: Free entertainment featuring a Veterans Tribute, Pigeon Forge Community Chorus, and special guests Free Fallin', A Tribute to Tom Petty.'
  • 8:30 pm: Event headliner Marty Stuart takes the stage.
  • 9:45 pm: Fireworks showcase begins!

Take Advantage of the Free Shuttle
Instead of trying to find parking at Patriot Park, use the festival's complimentary shuttle service? On July 4th, the free shuttle brings guests between the ample parking on Teaster Lane and Patriot Park. Shuttles operate every 15-20 minutes all day long.

Know What to Bring
For a memorable day at the Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival, be sure to bring your own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. For the safety of all guests, umbrellas, coolers, and tents are not allowed inside the festival grounds.

Entertainment at the Pigeon Forge Patriot Festival

Each year, the Patriot Festival boasts an impressive line-up of entertainment and concerts. This year's festival includes headlining artist, Marty Stuart, along with special guests, Free Fallin' - A Tribute to Tom Petty. The festival also includes performances from local talent throughout the day.

An afternoon and evening of fun make this the prime Pigeon Forge Independence Day celebration. Little ones will enjoy the free Kids Carnival, complete with carnival games and inflatables, which begins at 2:00 pm. A variety of food is also available throughout the day, with everything from sweet to savory items for sale.

At the conclusion of all musical performances, the Pigeon Forge night sky comes to life with a fantastic fireworks display. The fireworks usually start at 9:30 to 9:45 pm, so keep your eyes toward the skies. The 20-minute dazzling fireworks show, one of the largest in Tennessee for Independence Day, is often visible throughout Pigeon Forge.
