Among them are Haipuaena Falls, located at mile marker 11; Upper Waikani Falls (Three Bears Falls), located at mile marker 19; and Wailua Falls, an 80-foot waterfall located at mile marker 45.
4. Big Beach
Soak up some sun at Big Beach. One of the best beaches in Maui, this half-moon shaped bay is family-friendly and has restrooms and shady picnic areas. Admission is only $5 per car or $1 per person. Two other can’t miss Maui beaches include Kaanapali Beach and Honolua Bay, both of which are free of charge.
5. Maui Ocean Center
The Maui Ocean Center is a budget-friendly Maui attraction offering more than 60 indoor and outdoor exhibits designed to educate visitors about aquatic species and habitats. This park is the only marine park in the world dedicated to Hawaii’s marine life. The center includes interactive displays and an acrylic tunnel that runs through the 750,000-gallon Open Ocean Exhibit. General admission is approximately $28 per adult and $20 per child.
