Ill start by saying the resort is beautiful. It is on a rocky beach so you need to walk to the right or left a bit to find a beach instead of walking straight out. My issue with the place is that it is very boujou. I felt very constrained while there. Cant bring outside food or drink to the pool. You need different bracelets for different days and different bracelets for different pools. It just felt like you could hear a pin drop on the grounds. Its beautiful though so if youre 80 and want total quiet its a pretty place. Very expensive though...they charged 3 dollars just to bring a knife to the room. Drinks are 16 dollars at pool side. It is Maui though but very pricey place. Id look for somehing more afordable, fun, and less strict in the future

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and pampered at the Marriott Wailea Beach Resort. It was amazing. Every single staff member was friendly, helpful and kind. We were greeted with lei and nut necklaces... the food at Hana Cafe by the pool was awesome too. Try the wings and the coconut shrimp. The infinity pools are to die for, and the entire property is immaculate. I never felt crowded and we always found a chair at one of the pools. This place is the best. Aloha!

Loved this resort. Excellent amenities - yoga by the ocean was fantastic while watching the turtles pop up, the kids loved the waterslides, game room and resort activities including movies, hula dancing, bracelet making and smores. Rooms are spacious and nice. We moved room and a big thank you to Moses - he was for us the nicest person on the front desk, excellent service. Restaurants are great with good/different options the best coconut shrimp at Kapua and nice fish tacos at the Whale's tail. There is also a Starbucks on site and other restaurants and a good gym and spa. We visited the very close by Wailea shops too - nice açaí bowls and coffee in the Honolulu coffee company, delicious cookies in the Honolulu cookie store and ice cream at Lapperts. All 5 mins walk from the hotel. Hotel is well located with beaches either side and honestly think its the best on the stretch of hotels.

"Not worth 600-700 a night, service terrible"

Let me preface this with the fact that we stayed half our trip at the Andaz and half here. The difference was obvious. The andaz treats you like royalty, opening your door for you at the valet, sitting down with you at check in to go over the resort amenities with a glass of lavender lemonade, having anything you ask for at a moments notice. We had a family of 4 adults and got a suite with a kind bed and a queen pullout. The first night the pullout was broke (even if it hadn’t been it was so uncomfortable we were planning to sleep on the couch instead). We spent the whole trip sleeping on two cots. When you are spending 700 a night, really frustrating. The second night the AC was broke and it took an hour to get someone to fix it. The pool is overcrowded and if you leave your chair for more than 20 minutes they come and retrieve your things and keep them at the front counter while other people sit in your seats. So don’t think you can go eat lunch and come back. Is the hotel nice? Ya it’s fine, but for the price you are paying there are much better places on the island. We have stayed at the Hilton, fairmont, and andaz and all have had 5 star facilities and service. This place would be great if they treated you like a person and not just a number.
