Stay at Waikiki Beach Marriott, the Resort was Fabulous, however Some , I say some of the staff could’ve been a little more friendly. Front desk clerk was great, however the Concierge Desk clerk seemed a little lazy, when asked a question the guy was very vague a gave the impression he had better things to do. Parking garage was tight. Entrance and exit was the same direction, which was kinda dangerous due to the “curve around”barely had enough room for two cars side by side . We had a partial ocean view which was great !! No complaints there . Not a lot of activities to have to pay a $37 daily resort fee. I’d recommend this hotel because of short distance to the beach and cleanliness .

"Very nice......but......"

There was some building work in progress while we were there, so one of the pools was out of action, and there was a bit of noise during the day. The rooms were fabulous, and the views of Diamond Head were memorable. The hotel was very expensive by the time I converted our Aussie dollars, and I’m not convinced that it was worth it. We arrived very early after an overnight flight, and checkin wasn’t until 3 pm. We spent the day napping near the pool, but I felt that the hotel didn’t do enough to try to get at least one of our two rooms ready. We were offered the “hospitality room”, but it was really only a place to change clothes, and not very comfortable. There are cabanas by the pool which all remained empty all day while we waited, and I couldn’t help but feel that it would have been nice if we’d been offered use of one while we waited - would have saved me from continually nodding off in the shade and waking in full sun! Having said all that though - I understand that checkin time was always advertised, and our luggage was securely stored, so perhaps I’m being a little unfair! The hotel is conveniently situated across the road from the beach, and handy to shops and restaurants, and we did enjoy our stay.

"Big hotel on the south end of Waikiki"

Have stayed here for the last couple of years visiting friends. The Waikiki Marriott is a big hotel (over 1,000 rooms in to towers), two small pools and a number of restaurants but then you are right on Waikiki Beach! Rooms have obviously bee upgraded in the last couple of years, have had good service and good meals when eating on site, however so many great choices along Waikiki. Our breakfast was included and the morning buffet in Kuhio Grill was great and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I came for Labor Day weekend a short trip. First time in Hawaii. The hotel was beautiful the exterior was very nice and the room pretty nice with a wonderful view. But I have to give a poor review on the customer service. I hate do it but, I am paying for service and when that service is not meant then I have to express it. When first arrived the front desk person was very dry and cold not very hospitable. I try make a racist issue it 2019 and we International people that travel but with said it still have old mind set. I am sorry people still care that attitude today. It not first going front desk asking for some information or clear fiction on something. Same thing dry cold not warm, disconnected very short not smiling. Didn’t want even give service. What bugs me the most I am a long time member. With platinum, I ask the staff at front desk will be getting my point for my stay and he said yes. Why when looked on my account after my trip I didn’t see that I even stay at this hotel or got my points. When called back the same issue very dry cold and disconnected. And she toll me because I booked with a third party I don’t get points, why would one of your trained staff say something that not true if they are looking at my reservation. When call just now hearing of this. I like be respect either there for business or vacation if was business I would taken issue to head the hotel and bypass all of this rude behavior.
