"Not clean or friendly"

Our room was very unclean. The shower had mold, the floor still had qtips, and black spots still on the hardwood. I would not recommend. We left early and were not given a refund. Their customer service was poor. Their only response was that we booked it. It’s not their problem.

The ladies at check-in and check-out were both very friendly. That is all the good I can say about our stay. We got in our room and it had a bad smell. After about 15 min. my nose stopped up, nose and throat started burning, head hurting and felt nauseated. I think the room had to have had some type of mold. We told the lady at the desk and she moved us to another room. It was a little better on the smell but not the quality of the room. The sheetrock had stains where water had run down the wall from the ceiling. The bathroom ceiling in the loft leaked water onto the floor. The guy came to check it and said I wiped it up so we will see what happens. The loft had a bed frame but no mattress. We ask the lady if we could get a mattress and she said no and if we could we would be charged extra for it. So we had to go buy an air mattress. The tile on the floors were cracking and falling off. The floors were nasty and the baseboards were THICK in dirt and dust. The pictures are very deceiving on the computer for this hotel. And the cost was the same that nicer hotels charge. This hotel should in NO WAY be charging what they are for a room as we got! We will not be staying at Timbers Lodge in the future. I do not recommend ANYONE staying there.

"Nasty experience"

Timbers lodge was the nastiest hotel i have ever stayed at and it wasnt cheap. I didnt walk on floor because it would have turned my feet black. I didnt even want to put my bags on the floor. It had dust everywhere. I cant believe they are still in business. And why they are not inspected because if they were they should be shut down. Save your money! And find another hotel! I read bad reviews about the hotel been nasty and I went anyways, bad decision.

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!"

My boyfriend and I recently stayed for 2 nights, November 15-17. When we first checked in, the staff was extremely rude. Upon arriving to the room assigned to us (room 212), we tried to turn on the fireplace in which it would not operate. We called the front desk to inform them of this issue, and the lady who was on shift that evening responded in a very rude manner, and said she would QUOTE "get to it in awhile, I have other stuff I have to do".  We then asked to speak to a manager, and were told that the manager was not on duty. The next day, another issue arose with the hot water not working in the shower. Again, we called the front desk to address this and see if someone could come fix it. We were told to "run the water for awhile" but made NO ATTEMPT to resolve the issue. At that point, we reached out to our Travel Agent, not knowing what to do to resolve the situation. She called and spoke to a lady named Nancy, who assured her that the issue would be fixed with the shower, or they would move us to another room. Bottom line, the hotel NEVER resolved either of these issues, nor did they make any attempt to follow up with us. We have asked to speak with a manager on multiple attempts over the past several days, even since checking out, however we are told that the manager is not on duty. The most recent call made to speak with a manager was met with the staff member on duty hanging up! We would NEVER recommend the Timbers Lodge for your accommodations in Pigeon Forge. You would be better off camping in a tent than staying at this horrible establishment. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
