I booked this trip through third party Agoda. As everyone knows, coronavirus has been causing cancellations and quarantines everywhere. I am an emergency medicine resident, and I have been working nonstop and had to cover multiple shifts for other co residents put on quarantine. I also did not want to risk passing the virus on to the entire hotel if I happen to be an asymptomatic carrier after caring for these patients, so I reached out about getting a refund or credit. I spoke with both the Agoda website and the hotel who both advised me that I could get a refund, however both stated it would have to be from one another. The hotel tells me I must talk to the third party Agoda, then Agoda tells me that the hotel is refusing to refund and the hotel is the one who charged me. Looking at my bank statement it is the hotel. I have sat on hold 2x now for 1 hour with the hotel reservation line with no answer. The front desk answers and are always nice, but very unhelpful and tell me to continue to stay on hold with the reservation line. I feel like I am stuck in a purgatory where I can't seem to talk to a real human, and instead keep getting messages back and forth every 3 days from computers whom tell me to reach out to the other opposite company. This is all very frustrating and upsetting. I realize people are losing money left and right, but eventually the country will recover, and I hope everyone remembers the hotels and companies that screwed them.

"A very value, in the Sedona area!"

Sedona is one of our favorite destinations, and we go back regularly. The access to beauty and the outdoors there is amazing. This resort is right off the "main drag" in the Village of Oak Creek. Our 1-bedroom condo was quite large, had a very a comfortable bed, and came with all of the basics (laundry detergent, soap, etc.) The pool/hot tub areas were great, and the fitness center was decent. The staff was courteous, friendly, and very eager to please. The lone exception was a high-pressure sales pitch to book a time-share presentation (which we declined). That said, we would definitely come back to this resort and recommend it to others.

"Building 10, room 1001, view of the noisy pool pumps"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

We stayed in early March, 2020. The room was located in building 10, first floor, room 1001. It overlooks the pool pumps and equipment. There is a large tree that obscures the view of the mountains. If you work hard at leaning around the patio wall, you can see some of the mountains. The pool pump noise was sufficient to prevent us from sitting outside and conversing. We had to leave the room window closed at night due to the noise. The furniture and cabinetry are worn with multiple dings and dents. One arm chair is so worn the springs nearly drop you to the floor when you sit down. The shower has worn out grout around the base and the shower nozzle is full of calcification. The timeshare presentation is very intense and even though we were clear that we didn't have any interest in buying, we still had to be there for close to 2 hours to hear the whole spiel. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. There are very old DVD's available in the lobby to watch in the room. They do have my favorite coffee creamer in the lobby and a real coffee maker in the room. Several of the nearby rooms were clearly getting an upgrade with new appliances sitting on the patio and carpet layers were spreading out carpet in the parking lot. Parking is free and near the room. We didn't use the housekeeping service due to concerns about COVID virus and did our own cleaning. We wiped down everything in the room on arrival.

"Wonderful accommodations"

very nice resort facility. Rooms are impeccable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The only downside was the incessant pressure to purchase a timeshare. That was unacceptable. The location is nearby to restaurants and close to shopping. But, the distance in time to downtown Sedona is about 15 minutes. No biggie. All in all, it is a lovely place to stay.

Waking up to the Red Rocks every morning can’t be beat. Beautiful area in the middle of all Sedona has to offer. The 24 hour coffee in the lobby area is by far the best coffee in Sedona. They say it is Folgers but I’ve never tasted Folgers that good in my 75 years. Highly recommend the Ridge. One week is not enough to fully explore Sedona.
