The staff was super helpful. They helped us plan our sightseeing and explained how to use the ferry. The hotel was really clean and the rooms were nice and spacious. My room had great walk in shower. The restaurant downstairs has a good happy hour and good sushi. we really enjoyed it and would stay here again

"The Paramount disappoints"

It's hard to understand why the Paramount is ranked so highly on Trip Advisor. The rooms are quite ordinary and over-priced. We opted for an upgraded room on the top floor and it turned out to be as basic as possible, and the wifi service was spotty. Breakfast at the Dragonfish "Asian Cafe" was even more disappointing. The service was very inattentive at best and the food was worse -- they didn't even cook the pancakes through. Here's the bottom line: The rooms at the Hyatt Olive 8 next door are nicer and less expensive as well. And the food there is terrific. Book there and skip the Paramount.

Very nice hotel and convenient location! We had a wonderful time walking all around Seattle, and it was nice to come back to a clean and spacious room. Our flight into Seattle landed at 11:05 pm. Eric, a concierge at the hotel, arranged transportation from the airport to the hotel for us and had someone waiting at baggage claim. He also suggested great restaurants and must see attractions in the area. We highly recommend this hotel!

"Still having issues with this hotel...."

My son and I were planning on staying here. We ended up making reservations MONTHS in advance. A couple weeks before we were supposed to leave, my son went into DKA. The trip was cancelled, and I made sure to call the hotel the moment I knew we weren't going (Well before the cancellation window was over). A couple days after I had cancelled the hotel, they called me. They wanted to tailor my stay. I explained to the girl that I had already cancelled my reservation. Thinking that was finally over, I didn't think about it again....until the charges from Paramount starting appearing. They decided to go ahead and charge me anyway. So, I get in contact with the hotel and explain that I had already cancelled. I explained to the man that I had been in the hospital with my son when I had cancelled, and the call log is still on my phone. This jerk has the nerve to ask me for MEDICAL DOCUMENTATION. I don't give a flying donkey crap if I was in the hospital or out in a field sticking my thumb up my butt, I cancelled well before the window was closed. That was all the beginning/middle of June....and I still haven't seen a dime. Thanks for ripping me off Paramount Hotel.
