"Beautiful interior"

The Omni Toronto is a stunning property with a long history of luxury. The lobby is palatial, the staff is well-trained to anticipate your needs, and the room we stayed in was very comfortable. We enjoyed the space of our suite, and were pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the living room furniture and beds. Our room was very quiet, and we the central air with a thermostat is a nice feature compared to a standard wall-unit. We had an interior room so the views from the window were brick walls, and not a lot of natural light came in - but we weren't there long so it wasn't a major concern. The only feature we really missed was having a mini fridge in the room. The ice machine was an elevator ride and hallway walk away, so not the most convenient for the price of the room.

"Not great if you want to spend any time in the room relaxing!"

Th1e location was brilliant and the staff were polite and helpful. However, if you are looking for a hotel that you can relax in in the morning or spend any time in at all other than sleeping, then this hotel is not great. We stayed with our 21 month toddler and honestly the stay was completely fine, we needed a hotel that offered a suite with a separate room which this provided however I would not book here again and would happily spend more money for a room that didn't make me want to leave the moment I opened my eyes. We booked the largest suites they offer and found that it was extremely dark and dingy, the decor is tacky and even though we had a lounge area there was not enough seating. There were only some tiny windows which were up against brick walls so very little light could get in, there are no ceiling lights only lamps so there was a constant feel being in a prison cell. This may sound picky but the towels were also horrendous. They were like sand paper and my toddler screamed when we used them on him which was no surprise as my husband also got a rash from how hard and course they were. Seeing as we had booked a large suite you would expect a large bathroom with a double sink. The bathroom however was extremely small with just one sink, not enough space to put any toiletries and no bath. When you first walk into the lobby you get the impression that the hotel will be luxurious and bright however as soon as you go up in the elevator and are greeted by the dark narrow corridors with drab decor, it soon becomes clear that the standard of the rooms is not equal to that of the lobby.

Stayed for business meetings for 4 nights. The hotel has great staff, great ambiance, great food, fast internet and no noise at the room despite the construction next door. The food was delicious both at the restaurant and the Bar.

Great hotel. The lobby is stunning and the rooms are lovely. Certainly not cheap but they go out of their way to make it worthwhile. If you feel like a treat, try the Sunday brunch. Again, not cheap but a stunning offering of a large range of food.
