"Great location"

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Toronto. We really enjoyed the location and found it very central. Subway & tram just outside of entrance too. We had a suite (971) which was really spacious with separate lounge but the windows face out to adjoining walls so no views!! The room also felt more like a office reception room as furnishing were quite stark. Nice reception area and decorated lovely for Christmas

"Another Wonderful Stay!"

My wife and I once again stayed at this lovely old Toronto landmark and we weren't disappointed. Just walking into this wonderful building relaxes you and puts you in vacation mode. The process is simple and uncomplicated from the valet parking to check-in, which is quick and easy. We always find the staff friendly and helpful and as returning guests we received a warm welcome. The rooms are beautiful and spacious so you'll be comfortable just relaxing before dinner. The bar is a must visit to absorb it's rich charm and beauty. We took in the High Tea and also had breakfast in the Eddie which is always special. Prices are typical for Toronto so do yourself a favour and take in the charm of this classic hotel.

"Perfect Stay!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

We couldn’t fault this hotel at all. You enter into a beautiful impressive lobby which sets the tone for things to come. Our check-in was perfect & we had a beautiful large suite, which also managed to be cosy too. It was perfectly clean with all of the amenities that we required. We stayed here for one night, but on check-out day our flight home wasn’t until the evening, so we really wanted to stay in our room until late afternoon to relax before our long haul flight home. They couldn’t give us a late enough check-out as the suite was booked for new guests at 15:00 & they don’t sell their rooms on a day-room basis. However, they were able to accommodate us & offer a standard room at an overnight rate which we considered to be worth it. So we changed rooms in the morning & our standard room was extremely comfortable too & perfect for us. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly, efficient, & professional. We ate in their restaurants once for lunch, & once for breakfast. The food was good & the service perfect. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We loved everything about the hotel. We arrived in the morning and asked if we could store our luggage since check in wasn’t until 3pm and our room happened to be ready so we were able to check in right then which was so helpful. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to almost everything. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were big and so clean. It was our first time in Toronto and we can’t wait to return and will definitely be staying at the Omni King Edward.

"Made our Yearly Tradition that much more special"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed December 01, 2019 NEW
Our annual tradition is to take our niece and nephews to a play in the city as their holiday gift. This year, we decided to stay at the King Eddy and they just made the entire day so much more special. They sent the kids cookies and milk on arrival which was a small touch but made them so happy. Any associate we came into contact with was not just polite, but so genuinely friendly. You have a great team here! We will be back!!!
