We attended this show last year on Nov.30th and my hubby was on stage and received his certificate and tickets for other events. Sadly to say, before we could use them and enjoy our 5 day visit. I received a phone call the next morning that my Mother turned ill and was only given a few days to live. So we packed up and headed home fastly. But we will be back for a second visit this year once again. We LOVED the show and can't wait!!!

We've been coming to Gatlinburg for 25 years and have seen most all of the musical shows. We had never been to a vaudeville show before and decided to give this a try. What a hoot! It's a small theater, they have audience participation and two sing-alongs. The four talented actors performed at least a dozen skits with numerous costume changes. There is some adult humor mixed in, yet it is all kid friendly. Miss Emma was tremendous - her comedic timing was spot on - reminded me of Lucy and Ethel. It was great to take in a two hour show and laugh so much. We will come back again next year to our new favorite show. This is their 43rd season - why are we just now discovering this gem?

I have been coming to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge since I’ve been born. There’s honestly not a show or attraction that I haven’t seen, except for this one about a year or so ago. I saw the big tricycle riding around one day & told my grandpa that it seemed like something neat & wanted to see the show. So my grandpa bought him, myself, & my grandma tickets. We didn’t even make it half way through before getting up & walking out. It was hands down the worst show I have ever watched. Very dated, the building itself needed work. Obviously it’s old, but it wouldn’t kill them to at least clean it up a little. However, there were much older people there who seemed to love it & had been there multiple times. How, I don’t know but I guess it’s all in what you like. So needless to say, it’s now a running joke in our family to not let me pick shows/attractions to visit lol.

Our daughter is turning 16 years old in a couple of days and we wanted to celebrate her birthday in a special way. She asked if we could possibly spend a weekend in Gatlinburg and go to a performance at the Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre. (Yes, this is a teenager's request.) Turns out they had a two performances scheduled for Presidents Day weekend and we were able to plan on attending on a Friday night after driving up from Atlanta. She has seen two other shows during previous visits to the area over the years and remembered them well. The show was wonderful and the performers were splendid. Broad humor, puns. burlesque and vaudeville would be suitable descriptors. The energy and enthusiasm of the performers turns even the most tired of jokes toward the light of laughter. They truly seem to enjoy what they are doing on stage and their delight was contagious. With so many attractions in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area pulling your entertainment dollars I sometimes feel ill used. I left this theatre feeling well served and satiated. They have crafted a quality product that sparkles. We'll continue to make this a regular enjoyment when we come to Gatlinburg. A couple of small points. Watch for discount coupons that save a couple of dollars per ticket, although I couldn't figure how to use these on line for reservations. They are happy to announce special occasions among the audience so feel free to mention these. Be prepared to participate in the sing-along. There are good-natured penalties if you don't.
