If I had known that the place to pick-up tickets was across the harbor from the boat I would not have booked with this company. Both my friend and I are dealing with back and recovering from broken leg. Parking was so bad, had to park almost to the gas station. Then stand and wait inside building to get tickets, the walk around harbor to stand for almost 30 minutes in hot sun before boarding. They do not have and shuttle service from building to boat slip. Then had to walk back to "mall" then across parking lot to car. Lots of whales, however, couldn't see them because people sitting outside left all the strollers and their stuff in the aisles and seats.

"Sunrise Whalewatch Ma'alaea"

My wife and I went on the Sunrise Whalewatch out of Ma'alaea on the Ocean Guardian and it was wonderful. Prior to departure the staff takes time to provide details about the whalewatch and about the Pacific Whale Foundation. During the whalewatch we saw a bunch of whales including three sets of mom and calf pairs which we were told is very uncommon. We saw a couple breaches and a lot of tail slaps. Overall, our experience was excellent, the staff was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and provided a ton of educational information which was great!

Our family enjoyed the dinner sunset tour. The check-in process was easy and went smoothly. The captain and the staff on the boat were great. We were fortunate to see whales breaching for quite a long time! I think I heard one of the crew count 43 times that the male breached. The whales entertained us until the all of the sunlight had faded. Thank you for a lifetime memory!
