"Stompingly brilliant!"

My wife and I had seen Stomp in Blackpool, UK a few years ago and when the opportunity arose to see it off Broadway, I jumped at the chance to see it again and I am so glad we did! Whilst the theatre is small and narrow, the staging was very cleverly done. The skills shown by these people and the talent they have to make such amazing music with typical household items is something I only ever dream to posses. Not only did they make great music but they each had individual characters, and they showed a comedic element to the show without saying a word. It is such a brilliant show and whilst it’s quite a walk away from Times Square, it is definitely worth venturing down there to see it.

I booked Stomp because I was visiting New York with my 10 year old son and thought that this would be a nice experience for him, even though I was not sure if I was going to enjoy it. It was AMAZING! We both had an excellent time and I would recommend Stomp if you visit NYC.

"Great choice for kids"

I took two 12 year old boys to see Stomp, and they were absolutely wowed. I’ve taken my grandson to several Broadway musicals, and he thought Stomp was even better than some of those shows. The performers are extraordinary athlete dancers. It’s hard to believe how many objects they use rhythmically and creatively in this show. I found the show to be a bit long, but the boys absolutely loved it. As the theater is small, there’s good viewing in all seats.

My wife and I saw Stomp several years ago at the Centre in the Square in Kitchener, Canada and loved it. When we decided to come to NYC with our ten age girls, I wanted to take them to Stomp. It was a cool experience at the theatre in a rustic part of town on 2nd. We loved the show again and the kids loved it too. I would certainly go again to see the creative percussion and rhythm these artists create with everyday items.

Wow, what a show. My wife and I normally attend a Broadway musical, but this year decided to go see Stomp Off-Broadway. It was a great decision. The cast was fantastic! The show was energetic and something I had never seen before. The use of random objects to create beautiful noise was amazing. The theatre was intimate and we were in the 6th row. Excellent production.
