"Ann was the best"
July 2019
My family stayed here for four nights while visiting Dollywood and the other attractions. We had three rooms, all of which were clean and very spacious. The location was great and the staff was helpful. Ann, who ran the breakfast buffet for three of the four days, was the best. She helped us find what we needed and generally kept everything clean and filled.

"Daughter’s Volleyball Tournament"

This hotel was a perfect fit for our 13 year old volleyball team and their families. Rooms and the hotel were clean and well maintained. The staff was very attentive, accommodating, and kind. The staff that worked breakfast in the morning was so friendly and even sang for us!😂. Rooms were very large and beds were comfortable. In a great and convenient location, the hotel easily met the needs of our large group. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

"Great staff"

This was great for a quick getaway weekend with a little work mixed in. The suite worked great when I was working and the wife slept in. The room was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet has everything you expect and the staff made the breakfast even better. Enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi all 3 days and had it to ourselves. It felt great on cold days. On the down side we were near the elevator and heard hallway noise and on Monday morning there were no towels in the pool area. Location is great for everything in Pigeon Forge. Would return again when our needs run on the simple side.

This was a very nice stay.. really quiet. We stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast could be better but it's the standard for most hotels. There was an indoor pool that was nice but we didnt get to take advantage of it. Staff was friendly.

"I think we just chose a bad weekend"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed January 19, 2020 NEW
I’m just going to start by saying that based on what I’ve read on other reviews, we just chose a bad weekend to stay here. Upon our check-in there was a tour bus full of children unloading and pouring into the lobby. I believe some sort of church convention was going on. At the front desk, the two attendants were helping the group leader (of the tour bus kids) get their rooms sorted and I had to stand and wait somewhere between 5-10 minutes to be greeted. Maybe they assumed we were with the large group but my arms were getting tired so I sat my clutch down on the desk and I guess it alerted (finally) one of the front desk attendants that we were not with the large group. She wasn’t smiling or even halfway pleasant and I began to ask if there was any way for us to be away from the group of kids (it was our anniversary weekend getaway) and before I could even finish my sentence she interrupted me and very plainly let me know there are kids everywhere in the hotel and in the city so we will be next to them. Which if that is the case, fine. But her way of putting it didn’t sit well with me after paying $200 to stay here for one night. I expected a certain level of professionalism and politeness coming from a Marriott chain. Anyway, we finally got checked in and the room was fine. Everything was clean and in working order. The pillows were very flat and gave me quite a neck ache only to be made worse by the volume that people were talking at in the hallway both late at night and at 7am when I woke up. We didn’t get a chance to try the free breakfast in the lobby but everything looked & smelled great. Upon checkout the front desk attendant (different person) was very nice and pleasant. I’m going to blame our experience on the weekend and how busy the hotel was. Maybe would try again when it’s a little less busy because I can’t say I would pay $200 for that type of experience again.

"Tolerable stay"

Room was quiet and comfortable, possibly because this was a “dead weekend” according to the front desk clerk at check in. Hallways were overall dirty, carpet stains everywhere, trash cans running over. Toilet in the room had a broken tank lid, and handle was completely disconnected. Thankfully I can fix things, so I repaired the toilet handle. I find it hard to believe the cleaning staff did not recognize this issue!!! Closet door had been damaged, staff had attempted to spackle the hole, but looked like a 5 yr old made the repair. I would recommend a new GM or at least a new head of maintenance! No reason a hotel should be in this condition. Mold in window sills, and in bathroom around the tub/shower. I have attached pictures....
