"Nice place to stay off of the strip"

This hotel casino was nice to place to stay away for the hustle and bustle of the strip. The room was large and comfortable. We ate at the breakfast buffet a couple of times and it's worth the price, lots of choices.

"Great Atmosphere, Service, Food and Shows"

We stay at the Grandview for a week whenever we go to Vegas, which is right next door to the South Point. As a result, we spend a lot of time in the South Point casino, enjoying their restaurants and shows. The food at the Delmar Deli is wonderful and we really enjoy having breakfast every morning the Garden Buffet. The shows in their showroom is always excellent. We have seen Debbie Reynolds, Frankie Avalon, Crystal Gayle, George Wallace, Bob Anderson, Bee-Gees Tribute and Frankie Moreno there, just to name a few. We saw Frankie Moreno six times now since he is such a great entertainer. We enjoy him so much that we are going back to Vegas to see him again on New Year's Eve at the South Point, which should be a great show.

"Convenient Location, Great Stay"

As a local, we frequent SouthPoint often because it is convenient to access. Parking is ample, both complimentary and valet. It offers a great assortment of entertainment activities in addition to the gambling available. We enjoy the movies, restaurants and showroom. Love the showroom as it is intimate in that it is small and the entertainers can easily interact with the entire room as often they do by going into the audience. We have not recently stayed in the hotel, but when we did the room was very nice and comfortable. Since then they have renovated so I have no doubt it is just as nice, if not better now.

What a great place to stay OFF the strip which is exactly what my husband and I wanted for his birthday trip to Vegas. We had a "standard" king size room. My husband said he just wanted to whole room back home...LOL! The bed was extremely comfortable, the casino action was awesome and we had plenty of options of eating either in the hotel or we found your routine eating establishments just minutes away (for the budget minded). The refrigerator in our room was a little small and we wish we ha a microwave in our room. We valeted our vehicle at every opportunity (no charge) and the bellhops were also EXTREMELY helpful as well. The ONLY issue we had which we have no control over is the smoking which because it's not contained had a tendency to be super overpowering. Other than that, we had no complaints and we had a blast!
