"Great Light Show and Entertainment"

Went to Silver Dollar City for the first time and saw the Christmas displays. A great family outing and beautiful lights. Went on a Thursday and took advantage of the lower priced tickets available in super markets in Branson. The crowd was horrible but it was crowded. The various shows were family oriented and very entertaining. If you didn't go to the shows, you didn't get your money's worth. Definitely worth a trip. Not as large as other theme parks but worth the price of admission.

I loved the idea of going to silver dollar city! I love rollercoasters, and I love the hospitality of the south. What could be better?! Well I’ll tell you. The whole park, that’s what could be better. Perhaps I’m biased? I’m used to going to Disney World. A theme world built to accommodate people of all shapes and sizes. Unfortunately, Silver Dollar City does not offer the same accommodations. First and foremost I have to say I’m not the average sized person. I’m 6’11” and I weigh around 350lbs. I am just a very large person. When you’re my size, you become accustomed to the lack of availability of many conveniences the world offers to “normal” people. You pay extra to fly in premier seating. You pay extra for clothes, and you pay extra for vehicles, just so you can fit. Silver Dollar City is meant for the average person. I only fit on two rides and the rest of the time I watched my friends enjoy themselves from the sidelines. So if you’re the average person reading this, then Silver Dollar City is for you. If you’re the more than average person like me, go to Disney. Not to mention, the food and cost of admission is RIDICULOUSLY expensive... 🤷🏻‍♂️
