Our first trip to Wilderness Cabins was 6 years ago. At the time our children were 1 and 2 years old and the cabins couldn't have been more perfect for our family. We enjoyed the seclusion of the cabins within the forest and the pavement roads were ideal for strollers and walking. Since our first trip 6 years ago we have made it back every year and have brought more family members with us to enjoy our home away from home for that one week out of the year. We love to bring our own groceries and cook onsite after a long day of activities, the girls now 6 and 7 enjoy the swimming pool in the late afternoons. We have met so many other wonderful families over the years staying at the Wilderness as well. It really has that family feeling with a warm "good morning" from everyone we pass on our early morning strolls. We hope to continue to make it back to the Wilderness year upon year and keep our family tradition going, as our kids look forward to it each year!

"After Christmas in Branson"

What a wonderful time we had at the Wilderness Cabins. The cabins were great. Each night we enjoyed a roaring fire and relaxing time. I was a little concerned about my choice but it turned out to be the best experience ever and was the very cozy getaway we were looking for with everything we needed. We were fussed at for checking in early but wanted to get settled in before dark due to having a show that afternoon. The front desk person the first day could have been a little nicer but at other times the others were very nice and helpful. Will certainly do this again.

Tip: It is a cabin so don't expect the Ritz but had everything you could possilby need including a light for the fireplace.

Yes, there is a free shuttle available. In the summer, it runs every 2 hours starting at 10:30am. The last shuttle runs after the show at Echo Hollow at Silver Dollar City.

Do you have a restaurant, eatery or lounge on-site?
There is a general store on site but no restaurant.

These items are not available at Silver Dollar City Campground.

The pool is open from 10:00 am-10:00 pm.

What type of parking is available?
Only one car is allowed at each cabin. Extra cars must park in the overflow lot.

Is late check-in available?
Check-in for a cabin is 4:00 pm and after. We are open until 10:00 pm. If a guest arrives after the lobby is closed, there will be a map outside by the front door with the guest name on it showing where the cabin is and how to get the cabin.

What are the sizes of the refrigerators in the cabins?
They are dorm size fridges.
