"Disappointed!"
August 2016
Had tickets for the tower and stopped to enjoy the view on our way out of town. There was a car show going on, and we were stopped going to the parking lot by a man who said we had to pay $13.00 even though we already had tickets for the tower and had no intention of going to the car show. I suggested that he double check since he was obviously not in charge. He walked away and came back only to confirm that we would indeed have to pay the money. Now, we have a classic car and the participants pay to show their vehicles but people coming to see the cars do not so I found that part shocking anyway, but was quite upset that those people were so insistent that we pay again. We did not pay and did not see the tower. Seems like everyone wants to milk the tourists.

"What a treat!"
April 2016
We visited the Shepherd of the Hills Inspiration Tower this weekend and it was truly a treat. The view is breath-taking! We were even able to watch a couple of people zip-line from the top. This is an inexpensive attraction and well worth your time.

We really enjoyed seeing Branson from above. A short elevator ride takes you to the top. Try it at night and during the day!

"Beautiful views"
March 2015
We visited the tower on our last day in Branson, and I couldnt think of a better ending to our trip. The views are spectacular! Make sure to take quarters with you for the machines, we didnt think about it and the change machine was out of order! Kind of a bummer, but the scenery really made up for it!

"Awesome point of view"
February 2015
I went with my teenage daughter. I thought she would think it was lame and boring, but she didn't. She loved the views and reading what we were looking at and how far we could see. We went early evening and had the place to ourselves. The elevator ride scared me, but I'm not a fan of heights.

This has been a family tradition for over 20 years and we pulled up this year to discover a different entrance - a bit confused we paid and began our route. They have taken out over half of the lights and exhibits and tried to market it as a North Pole attraction, an entire separate ticket and walking trail. The Trail of Lights is not worth it at all anymore. I can see more elaborate lights driving in neighborhoods for free. I’m so disappointed this tradition is ruined. Don’t waste your time or money.

"Carriage Ride Nice, But Pricey"

Nice 15-20 minute ride, but not for $112.10. Save your money and take the Christmas lights drive. That’s worth the $25 per carload.

We went to the restaurant for breakfast and pulled in to a parking lot with two cars. That should of been our first indication maybe not a good idea. The actual restaurant is beautiful on the inside with the antiques and just old times feel. There was only one server on duty and seemed to be new. I ordered hot tea to be told they were out which seems very strange. The food didn't take too long to come to the table and portion sizes were good but the eggs were just soaking with butter. It was an average breakfast and the server seemed like they were still in training and should not have been alone. We were hoping for better as we have been coming for 30 years and wanted to try something new. It was a let down and the prices were high compared to other places. It almost seems the restaurant was an after thought and that shows as it isn't even a choice listed above. They really to step it up as we will not be back after only one visit.
